Re: Thoughts on KARM
I usually don't like following herds.
You aren't in it, so have no risk potential. You also have no reward potential, but the sell-off indicated more risk than reward at this point.
Personally, if I were interested in the coin, I'd be ready to move and wait to hear what the announcement is. If good, you can grab some coin as it rises. If bad, you move on to the next coin.

Re: When to buy LTBcoin?
Maybe it's because of the holiday weekend in U.S., but I have not seen a significant increase in trading volume on either exchange.

Re: GAW Increasing Hashlet Prices Again
@wct296 I am really glad I got in with about 70mhs prior to the price increase. I'm not sure buying anymore at the current price is worth it.. Its certainly a great system tho and I am tempted to pour more btc into it.. But I have been burnt before with sites disappearing..
They even encourage you to leave btc in there so you get more zenpoints.. but what would happen if we put a heap of btc there and bought a heap of hashlets and then the company went bust..
That said, gaw just bought zencloud.. and spent $1m on btc.com domain name.. so I dont think they are going anywhere..
I'd like to hear how it goes for you.
I looked at getting in later, but at the higher price, I didn't feel like i would see ROI, let alone profit.
I'm curious to see how you do and compare to CoinFire contributor who bought in at the latest price increase level and see the difference in returns.

Re: PETAMINE.XCP - Mine bitcoin with your counterwallet! [Vote Complete]
1) I'm fine letting the petamine ride. Never going to see ROI, if we bail every time the grass looks greener elsewhere. Creating new token is easy. Let's just start a new one for the new opportunity and let the old one ride. Even if it's dust, I've learned from my Little miners that the dust adds up.
2) the token balance reported on this site is stuck on the initial token amount. Interestingly, the distribution/earnings update, but only for that initial token purchase. However, if I go to my counterwallet, both the Petamine token balance and XBTC balance is the correct, higher amount.

Re: ARCOIN GOING TO WALL STREET ON 20 AUGUST! X13 POW/POS - TOR IMPLEMENTED
I'm a little dubious of the contention that passing out flyers on Wall Street equals "big time", let alone legitimacy. That seems like a tactic of a pump-and-dump scheme,

Re: Mark Karpeles of mtGox starting a new company?!
Screw me once, shame on you. 11
Screw me twice, shame on me.Anyone who does business with MK deserves what they get. From what I know of the MTGox situation (mostly from @adam and @andreas excellent reporting at the time on LTB), the loss was either due to insider shananigans or gross negligence/recklessness.
Either way, it goes to the top and MK deserves no trust. At least not until restitution is willingly made and after 10 or so years of contemplation behind lock and key.

Re: Should LTB charge for its podcasts
I think the network should have both free and premium content, but only after the site is significantly more established. It would also need to be phased in over time. Maybe, make part of forums membership to cut down on spam. Have some special reports, exclusives, live chats, webinars, etc. that require admission or membership.
I think the model practiced by peakprosperity.com is fair and effective.

Re: New segment idea for one of the LTBN podcasts - altcoin innovations
I think both an appcoin and altcoin of the week type report would be interesting. While voting daily to try to get LBTC on the cryptoine exchange, I've clicked on some of the competitor coins/tokens to learn more about them. A lot seem like pump and dump like doubleeagle. But appcoins like SkullCoin seem interesting. There seems like there is space and interest for someone to focus on this and do some regular, general reporting. I would definitely read/listen

Re: [VOTE] For LTBc in Cryptoine
Still #4, but creeping up. Voting ends tomorrow night. Not sure exact time. There is still a chance if every who has voted does so tomorrow.
Curious what happens after tomorrow night to the coins that don't make it. Do you have to re-nominate the coin? Are all votes zeroed and it starts over? Anyone know?
