@bitcoinzar I bought a hashlet to test if it will be profitable, and at the price of $15.99 it was not a lot to risk. I have a spreadsheet with my daily earnings etc here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g3TxmHJrFiQtZv1o0-aroB5ut-CJoQNBTbL1aOQFqTg/edit?pli=1#gid=0 If you keep checking back the spreadsheet will show if it was profitable or not.

possibility return on investment is 2 months, right? correction if I'm wrong

I am really glad I got in with about 70mhs prior to the price increase. I'm not sure buying anymore at the current price is worth it.. Its certainly a great system tho and I am tempted to pour more btc into it.. But I have been burnt before with sites disappearing..

They even encourage you to leave btc in there so you get more zenpoints.. but what would happen if we put a heap of btc there and bought a heap of hashlets and then the company went bust..

That said, gaw just bought zencloud.. and spent $1m on btc.com domain name.. so I dont think they are going anywhere..

I'd like to hear how it goes for you.

I looked at getting in later, but at the higher price, I didn't feel like i would see ROI, let alone profit.

I'm curious to see how you do and compare to CoinFire contributor who bought in at the latest price increase level and see the difference in returns.

ROI has increased quite a bit with the new pricing structure.. A friend calculated it out recently but I think its now about 6-8 months (from memory as I cannot exactly remember, when I get more time I'll try and calculate it).. The fact that they (Read GAW) are suppose to keep them profitable is interesting.. Not sure how thats going to work.

I'm not sure I like the whole by a hashlet to a certain pool thing.. 1Mhs of power for them should cost them the same no matter what pool it goes to.. Why the dramatic difference in price? It concerns me.. why is their cost associated with how much profit each pool returns? It smacks of price fixing to me

    @coinfire

@meadefreling The price has increase so many people see it has profitable.

I personally purchased a few. I figure might as well see how this plays out at this point.

Never invest more than you are willing to lose of course and so I figured I had a little extra and I am curious to see how it all plays out in the end.

Thanks, am very brilliant so i can never invest much, because if i do so i should be preparing to loose.

Maybe im old skool, but i still like having the physical miners in my possession. Im starting to make the transition from "mining" to "earning" crypto in the traditional sense anyway...

Good luck to those of you who have went the Hashlet route.

Speaking of the physical route. Cointerra announced a new miner and opened up pre-orders for it today: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/d41d8cd98f

Not a fan of pre-orders. Asic companies operate in a wild wild west atmosphere...and unless im gaining interest to offset the risk, i dont like letting people "borrow" my money for free.

My thoughts exactly. I won't pre-order after seeing so many people burned by the various companies.

I have many friends who have been very happy with CoinTerra in the past and have made several large purchases and I am asking them if they are going to take the plunge with a pre-order and see what they are thinking.

I just hesitate to know that my money is being used to develop something, then "test" it by them running it for several weeks and making more money from it before they send it to me.

Not that CoinTerra is doing that but many others are and I am just hesitant personally.
