I'm a graphic artist and small-scale inventor/entrepreneur who started spending a lot of my time exploring Bitcoin in early 2013.

I've been accepting Bitcoin for design and print work since May 2013 (my first Bitcoin job was business cards for the Let's Talk Bitcoin team to bring to Bitcoin 2013 in San Jose).

I've been selling Bitcoin Keychains since July 2013.

I made Litecoin keychains a bit later in 2013, but they haven't been selling that well (anyone want a deal on 1000 Litecoin keychains?).
    Lkeychain.com

I've written bitcoin articles on Let's Talk Bitcoin and Spelunk.in
    LetsTalkBitcoin.com/blog

And in October of 2014 I became an LTB Network podcaster with The Bitcoin Game!

I'm definitely not a Bitcoin expert, just an enthusiast who enjoys participating as much as I can.

  • Re: LTB emails coming in as spam on Gmail

@cryptonaut I checked and found some LTB emails in my gmail spam folder, but the last was on July 2. And from July 2 on, they seem to be getting through for me… w/o any input to my gmail account.

  • Re: LTBCoin for SPAM

I think it's worth considering mods, who could be rewarded with LTBcoin. I'm not saying it's the right way to go, just saying it's a model worth considering, along side considering systems w/o mods.

I have the sense now that most people here are genuine, non-trolling types, which is very nice, and I hope that doesn't change too dramatically. Will scammers and spammers start moving in? Will people figure out technical ways to game the forums on a large scale, requiring effort to separate real people from bots trying to collect as much LTBcoin as possible? Should there be down votes, or maybe various ways each and every post has a place to rate/classify it by users, to crowdsource moderation? Though I also can't help but think someone who has set up a few dozen user accounts could be pretty powerful in a forum that has no mods. Also, is there a policy on free speech for these forums?

These are all things I haven't considered much, but once my head gets spinning on the subject, I do get nervous about what could happen to this little forum eden.

  • Re: Counterwallet Notifications and Discussion

Glad to know I'm not the only person befuddled by trade attempts on Counterwallet! So many things seem so intuitive and slick with the wallet, but the trading is not. And I'm totally unable to grasp the BTC TX details, with escrows and such. Is there an explanation on Counterparty's site or forums that explain trading and the transaction details that occur when one places a trade order?

  • Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!

Think it would cause problems if you sold LTBcoin for Bitcoin, to cover these cost? Is the relationship pretty linear, so that 10x the people will cost 10x the BTC?

It does sounds like a real problem if there's not a workaround. Is there any public (or private) discussion with Counterparty about these fees adding up?

  • Re: Display Ads on LetsTalkBitcoin.com!

@coinfire Blah! Guess I got confused on the time zones. Wish we had a way to mark these as closed. Otherwise I would have come back sooner to bid higher.

Sounded like maybe Steve might allow one of his ads to go to someone else... Like you?

  • Re: Display Ads on LetsTalkBitcoin.com!

I just realized this closed at 8am this morning (for some reason, I had 8pm in my head). Well, that sure was a bargain; I'm excited to be in the first round of display ads sold for LTBcoin. I'll get an ad image over.

  • Re: What's your favorite altcoin?

Funny to see the contrasting views on Litecoin in back-to-back posts. Assuming what I heard on an LTB podcast last week was accurate, Litecoin is still far above the other alts, as far as hash power securing the platform. I agree it feels stagnant, but I think that that can also be a security positive.

I understand why Bitcoiners either love or hate so many diverse cryptocurrency project. I've swayed back and forth a few times, but it seems beneficial to have so many crypto-economic experiments (and it's not like we have a choice in the matter).

I don't really keep up on alts like I see some people do, so I'm interested in what others say on this thread. From a crypto-investing-diversification standpoint, I think it makes sense to own a portfolio of promising coins, in addition to owning Bitcoin. I'm looking forward to the day when it's easier to securely manage different coins.

  • Re: [Official] The 100,000 LTBcoin Logo Design Contest

I too think it would be great to know if there's a new specific deadline on this.

  • Re: Darn...

Max, I'm thrown by the idea of separating the LTB Network and LTBcoin. I'm sure you have rationale, but it doesn't make sense to me.

My impression is that there is an issue that is causing the site to display incorrectly on your iPad's browser, and I think figuring that issues out is a worthwhile goal. For what it's worth, everything displays as I would expect with a responsive site, and everything is easy to read on my iPhone and laptop.

1100 LTB for an ad for Bkeychain.com
