I loose at least 70% of the display space on the iPad for the following reasons:
1: the Lets Talk Bitcoin website insists on displaying non-useful formatting of brown textured background. Note, this is at odds with all user experience design philosophies today. It would upload a screen shot ,if I could. Please try viewing the site with mobile device... maybe an iPad Mini and then rethink this approach.
2: the Lets Talk Bitcoin website insists on retaining a column of navigation items (left) even after I scroll down wayyyy past where they were last visible. Of course, I know that if the column exists, it can not be removed when scrolled out of scope... but why is this column there in the first place? I am a reader that is interested maximizing visual display space on an iPad display.
3: the avatar /icon display name space also takes away from the content display.
For these reasons, I think the bulletin board user experience model does not work.
I have not even touched on the content 'markup' elements that could be available. Note, it was easier to read Tim Swanson's article in PDF format than on the Lets Talk Bitcoin website display pages. I think this makes my point kore succinctly. PDF is a virtual paper printer modality.
I will submit UI issues via the support page.
Thanks for responding, Max
