    I'm a graphic artist and small-scale inventor/entrepreneur who started spending a lot of my time exploring Bitcoin in early 2013.

    I've been accepting Bitcoin for design and print work since May 2013 (my first Bitcoin job was business cards for the Let's Talk Bitcoin team to bring to Bitcoin 2013 in San Jose).
    Print4Bitcoin.com

    I've been selling Bitcoin Keychains since July 2013.
    Bkeychain.com

    I made Litecoin keychains a bit later in 2013, but they haven't been selling that well (anyone want a deal on 1000 Litecoin keychains?).
    Lkeychain.com

    I've written bitcoin articles on Let's Talk Bitcoin and Spelunk.in
    LetsTalkBitcoin.com/blog
    Spelunk.in

    And in October of 2014 I became an LTB Network podcaster with The Bitcoin Game!
    TheBitcoinGame.com

    I'm definitely not a Bitcoin expert, just an enthusiast who enjoys participating as much as I can.

    @ADAM, the link in your signature has a convoluted path to get to this current auction, would you like to update it to this thread (or update the post your link goes to, and have that go to this thread)? I know there's less than two days left, and it's not a big priority, but just figured I'd let you know, since it might be helpful.

  • Re: (CLOSED) Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time

    @William and @Zero4ce, I'm placing my own bids at 30K and 31K. Both of my bids are well under $25 at the current rate of exchange, and I just can't pass up bidding at this level. I think most everyone here would agree that an hour of Adam's time is worth way more than that.

    This auction closes in just over 50 hours. Please reference the original post for more details on this auction if you'd like to join in. This may be the last manual auction, as @Adam has a new Auction tool he hopes to launch soon (I'm hoping we can all use the new tool for our own auctions).

  • Re: world of warcraft

    Unlike many here, I've avoided many popular and addicted games, as I've seen games take over my life in the past, in a very unhealthy way. I feel out-of-the-loop in this realm of technology, and see how others got a very early taste of digital currency by being involved in these types of games, and seeing people trade fiat for virtual goods and currencies.

  • Re: Richard Boase and his Kenya Experiance

    I barely skimmed through everyone else's answers, so I apologize if my response is a rehash of other's.

    My sense was that this particular person's "experiment" failed, but I didn't think it spelled doom for cyprtocurrencies to thrive in developing regions in the near future. In my opinion, it's not easy and secure for 1st world non-technical people to hold Bitcoin on the devices they already own and can use. Most people I know (outside of tech and crypto) are totally clueless about security (and even those of us with a clue can still be compromised). But I think time will bring advances to ease the secure use of Bitcoin, and it will also increase the availability of devices and internet access to people in less-developed countries. Seems it's all just a matter of time (as long as nothing throws us off track).

    There will also be those whose living conditions are so difficult (for a variety of reasons), that most will never have the luxury to care about anything to do with technology and digital payment systems.

  • Re: BitcoinInsanity is a scam !

    @cryptonaut protip: buying or selling bitcoins with a credit card or paypal is almost always going to result in a bad time.

    Well, except Circle allows you to buy Bitcoin with a credit card, and I see no hint of any issues in that case. Do you?

    Top two bids:

    2 @Zero4ce 25K LTBc

  • Re: Cold Storage Solutions?

    The majority of my bitcoin is held on paper wallets put in safe places (using the generally recommended ways of booting from a linux CD). No Bip38 or anything else fancy. Not saying it's the greatest, but it's the answer to the question. The balance of my Bitcoin, for active use, is spread around various place.

    Note that I'm working with a company that is about to bring a number of cold wallet solutions to market, including laser imaged cards (as have been referenced) as well as CNC-engraved products. I have a sense that the laser imaged metal cards that are being offered may not fair as well in a fire as they are hyped, but I have no proof of that. I think a CNC-engraved, high-melting-point metal seems much more reliable to still be readable after a fire. But I also don't think I've seen any proof the image is retained after a fire (if you have, I'd love to be better informed).

  • Re: (CLOSED) Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time

    @zero4ce I am on vacation right now could not follow the result of last week auction ( by the way where can I find the end result having pure internet connection).

    If I have not been successful last week my bid is good till cancelled, meaning it is for this week as well until further notice. So 25.000 LTBc it is. thanks for your notice

    At the very least, I owe you an apology, if not more. I did not remember your request, though I do now (had an incredibly stressful work project that I'd like to blame, though it was still my fault). Please contact me directly if you want to discuss further. I will not forget again, and you are currently the top bidder with 25,000 LTBc.

  • Re: (CLOSED) Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time

    Either everyone is waiting until the last minute to bid, or I am going to clean up on Adam's HOURCONSULT tokens this week with my 10K & 11K LTBc bid (see my post above).

    But I guess I'll make sure none of these previous bidders are interested this week…
    @SovBTC?
    @deweller?
    @Zero4ce?
    @kerneloops?
    @rob1ham?
    @davidareallen?
    @cyrusfx?

    At the current LTBc:USD exchange rate, a $10 bid (FOR AN HOUR OF ADAM'S TIME!!!) will comfortably outbid my high bid.

    While I promised not to aggressively bid on this auction (and not place any last-minute bids), I still may actively bid against people, if the value seems just too low not to.

    Note that, even if you don't have a project, it's quite fun to talk to Adam over Skype. it's a bit surreal, as Adam uses the same microphone he uses for LTB, so it is hard to tell if he's talking to you, or you're listening to LTB. My wife just assumed I was listening to a podcast when she overheard a Skype conversation with Adam, and she wondered why I was talking back to a podcast.

  • Re: What's Your Favourite Way to Earn Bitcoin??

    I've been paid in Bitcoin for graphic design work, printing, and keychains (bkeychain.com & lkeychain.com). But it's best getting paid in BTC when it's low! I've been paid in Bitcoin when it was $80 and when it was $1200.
