[AUCTION] [Adam B. Levine] [Weekly End Date Sunday Noon Pacific]

Hour Long Consultation via Skype

This weekly auction ends Sunday at noon, Pacific Time (general time used for most LTBc auctions). Adam has allowed me to run this auction. You can check the time here:
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_US-CA.aspx

There are two Skype sessions auctioned each week, so the top two bidders will win (there are not two independent auctions for the two sessions). Please don't match a previous bid, as it leaves ambiguity about who is in second place if someone outbids the two equal bids (first bidder at a shared bid value has priority).

Auction winners receive the token HOURCONSULT from Adam, that can be redeemed for the time talking to him. The token can be saved, transferred, traded, etc. Adam will redeem two Skype sessions per week, so some weeks may be busier than others to schedule. And sometimes Adam will be out-of-town, etc. Token holders can redeem their consultation by scheduling with [email protected].

When you bid, please consider the value of an hour of Adam's dedicated time, and the value of one LTBc on the open market. If you're in the U.S. and it matters, you can calculate the value of your bid here: http://joelooney.org/ltbcoin/calc

LTBc payments from winning bidders should be sent to this address that Adam set up:
18YFt8ek8duhKFGG2x9Tk5fjuVHncMugkR
You can verify this address vs. Adam's post on pg 2 of this thread: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/auction-for-1-hour-of-adam-b-levines-time?page=2

For the auction ending August 3, the two winning bids were 25k & 22.5k LTBc.

If you don't have any LTBc, you can trade for it with BTC at Melotic.com. Or contact me and I can accept payment in BTC or fiat using PayPal, at a rate TBD, and pay Adam LTBc on your behalf.

    I realized I had seen Adam bid for auctions that he was running, so I guess it's okay for me to start the bidding off at 10K and 11K LTBcoins.

    I will not be an aggressive bidder (I won't try to outbid people at the last minute), as that seems like perhaps a conflict of interest for someone running the auction. But I see great value in getting an HOURCONSULT token from Adam, particularly at the rates they've gone for to date.

    Either everyone is waiting until the last minute to bid, or I am going to clean up on Adam's HOURCONSULT tokens this week with my 10K & 11K LTBc bid (see my post above).

    But I guess I'll make sure none of these previous bidders are interested this week…
    @SovBTC?
    @deweller?
    @Zero4ce?
    @kerneloops?
    @rob1ham?
    @davidareallen?
    @cyrusfx?

    At the current LTBc:USD exchange rate, a $10 bid (FOR AN HOUR OF ADAM'S TIME!!!) will comfortably outbid my high bid.

    While I promised not to aggressively bid on this auction (and not place any last-minute bids), I still may actively bid against people, if the value seems just too low not to.

    Note that, even if you don't have a project, it's quite fun to talk to Adam over Skype. it's a bit surreal, as Adam uses the same microphone he uses for LTB, so it is hard to tell if he's talking to you, or you're listening to LTB. My wife just assumed I was listening to a podcast when she overheard a Skype conversation with Adam, and she wondered why I was talking back to a podcast.

    @rob I am on vacation right now could not follow the result of last week auction ( by the way where can I find the end result having pure internet connection).

    If I have not been successful last week my bid is good till cancelled, meaning it is for this week as well until further notice. So 25.000 LTBc it is. thanks for your notice

    At the very least, I owe you an apology, if not more. I did not remember your request, though I do now (had an incredibly stressful work project that I'd like to blame, though it was still my fault). Please contact me directly if you want to discuss further. I will not forget again, and you are currently the top bidder with 25,000 LTBc.

    @William and @Zero4ce, I'm placing my own bids at 30K and 31K. Both of my bids are well under $25 at the current rate of exchange, and I just can't pass up bidding at this level. I think most everyone here would agree that an hour of Adam's time is worth way more than that.

    This auction closes in just over 50 hours. Please reference the original post for more details on this auction if you'd like to join in. This may be the last manual auction, as @Adam has a new Auction tool he hopes to launch soon (I'm hoping we can all use the new tool for our own auctions).

    @ADAM, the link in your signature has a convoluted path to get to this current auction, would you like to update it to this thread (or update the post your link goes to, and have that go to this thread)? I know there's less than two days left, and it's not a big priority, but just figured I'd let you know, since it might be helpful.
