  • Re: Counter Wallet.co redirects to countetwallet.io

    Thanks for this thread. I hadn't logged into Counterwallet for awhile, and was a bit nervous to enter my passphrase on a redirected domain.

  • Re: [Official] The 100,000 LTBcoin Logo Design Contest

    @jayek Did prizes get sent out already? The post on Saturday said " Winners, please make sure your LTBCOIN address is correct, prizes will be going out early next week."

    Want to make sure I didn't get missed.

    Congratulations on having the winning design I haven't seen the LTBc yet as a runner up, so I would bet Adam just hasn't had a chance to get to it (with all his projects, plus the conferences, I'm not sure how he keeps up with everything). I'm assuming it will come in good time.

  • Re: Will the BTC's horrible price decline scare investors away?

    I think those of use who understand the benefits and potential of Bitcoin, and know how many man-hours and how much investment is going into developing around Bitcoin, are not scared off by the price. With so much good news about Bitcoin, I really see these lows as a buying opportunity.

    However, when I talk to almost anyone outside Bitcoin, all I hear are comments like "Didn't Bitcoin lose billions?" "Isn't the price way down?" So I think that the low price definitely scares away new investors, especially those who don't know much about Bitcoin, but just see it as a way to make (or lose) money.

    When Bitcoin was taking off towards the end of 2013, many people who knew I was into Bitcoin were asking me how to buy some. Right now, no one is asking me. I'm actually encouraging friends and family who expressed interest before, to buy now.

    Great news for the platform!

  • Re: Fresh Interviews from SoCal Bitcoin Job Fair

    @eshriek

    Thanks for your response. I definitely don't want to post the unedited interviews for public consumption, I only want to deliver a somewhat polished product. I'm mostly trying to figure out delivery. I can edit it, I just have to find the time in my fairly busy schedule. I'm hoping I can do it quickly, so the interviews can be released in a timely manner. The content isn't earth-shattering, but definitely some stuff I think is interesting.

    I've almost started my own Bitcoin podcast before, but pulled back because the interview I conducted was just not compelling enough -- Adam gave it a listen and said as much. I ended up creating written content from that interview. But maybe having this new content will be what pushes me to give it a go. On the other hand, if I could get the content on someone else's podcast, that would be great (definitely a lot less time consuming then creating my own podcast). Once I do at least a rough edit, I'll have a better sense of the quality of the content.

    So now my plan is to start the editing process, and try to reach out to to some LTB podcasters and see if anyone is interested on any level. I'm not sure how many are in Las Vegas this week (gathering content).

  • Re: Not able to Create Auction

    @troy112 @cryptonaut

    I just created an auction (but didn't fund it, to actually start it). Maybe try again, and make sure it wasn't just a temporary thing? I've created a few auctions (and a few more test auctions I didn't fund), but I've never seen an error creating one.
