Re: GAW Increasing Hashlet Prices Again
@bitsol I am still not sure if it is a scam or not... I guess we will have to wait and see
Our own @MiningLeo did an interesting piece regarding that: https://coinfire.cf/2014/10/15/gaw-miners-hashlet-review/
He expressed what he called several concerns with the service and the "mining" of coins.
We reached out repeatedly to GAW for comment before running the piece to give them a chance to address our concerns and they didn't reply.

Re: Bounties for Promoting Crypto
@alchemix Where are you posting these bounties, and are they active? None of the options were active on the site when i was there today. I couldnt even enter my email for alpha (although it was just the text coming up white).
I wasnt sure if it was an abandoned site or just really new. Great to see something like this on the horizon.
The alpha site is only accessible through a different URL. It looks like they've been having some growing pains. I just urged the owners of the site to join up here though and come discuss with us!

Re: Bounties for Promoting Crypto
@alchemix I wonder when this site will go live?? I tried to sign up and wasnt able to...It looks like a really good idea and i defo want to join the effort when the time comes.
We got our alpha invite and hope to share more insights soon. I have been creating lots of bounties but they certainly have more work to do before bringing more people on board. It is a great concept but still needs some work.

Re: weekly updates?
@rob Ask @coinfire!
Guess it not only takes time to write, but you have to be actively reading the forum posts for the week.
I have no idea what is up. I submitted one over a week ago and I guess it just hasn't been approved. Everything in it is likely super stale now.

Re: How will regulations shake things up?
@theogoodman "Do you think that will impact the BTC price?"
Who do you think the bearwhale could have been or what letter from the SEC or other goverment authority did the bear whale read? People "in the know" about the shake up have already sold, the news is already somewhat priced in, hince the current bear market. However this is 100% conspiracy theory as I have zero evidence.
I have reason to think many letters are still going out.

Re: How will regulations shake things up?
@djnocide If its a regulation to help CC, it will only brings more people to use it. If its a regulaiton to stop CC, Price will drop and we'll see a lot of false statement about CC to keep people away from them
I think we are going to see movement against companies that have been offering securities recently.

Re: How will regulations shake things up?
@jamesmm Hopefully it will be good regulation and we'll see all these companies and projects take off. I feel a lot of them are waiting to see how the regulations will affect their projects.
I think we have a ton of stuff just waiting in the wings. Do you think some bad players will exit when some kind of rulings happen?

Re: How will regulations shake things up?
@coinfire We've all heard the speculation regarding government regulations and interventions especially in the case of alt coins, "shares" etc.
How do you think that is going to shake out?
Some have argued that many of these "opportunities" are securities and as such will be regulated by the US Government for being unregistered securities.
Do you think this is the case? How do you think it will potentially impact things moving forward?
We are going to see regulators crack down on this stuff really hard and try to send a very clear message.
Do you think that will impact the BTC price?

Re: SPECULATE.XCP - Weekly Payouts!
I am thinking it is finally time for me to get in on this action. COIN WHALE.XCP this week and now I'll have to pick up some SPECULATE.XCP.
Adding picking this up to my to-do list :)
