  • Re: Is Paypal/Braintree About to Accept Bitcoin?

I think something might be under embargo right now potentially.

  • Re: What’s This You Say? More Crypto Radio? BitFM in route.

@b1zarr0 Guess I need to try it, I feel left out. Is it just chainradio.com or an app or what?

Yeah, I usually listen via ChainRadio.com but they are also listed on TuneIn so you can listen via your phone or Roku and what not so they've got a lot of listening options.

@wildjo I will give them a listen. It will be interesting to hear what content they role out. Pretty ambitious to do 80% original content all day long day after day. I hope they can pull it off.

That model is pretty different from chain radio, so there may be space for both to thrive. I don't like Alex jones, who is played a lot on chain radio, but the music was good when I checked them out during the LTBc promotion.

    Thanks for the news!

Yeah, I will be checking out BIT-FM when it launches as well.

I'm personally excited to see more people getting in to the space of sharing cryptocurrency with others and can think this is nothing but a good thing.

We've got an interview lined up with another station later this week so the space is certainly heating up.

@ChainRadio does air a lot of produced content and we are going to be speaking with them regarding this in the near future to learn more about why that is the case.

nope its just bitcoin/counterparty assets only right now

I'll keep my eyes peeled though ;)

@coinfire, I still think you should auction off a counterparty assed. I mean, you're accepting LTBcoin, aren't you, so your argument about the buggyness of counterparty is kind of moot. Just sayin'.

    A valid point.

I'll take a look at getting this setup in the near future. It is a lot easier to just accept LTBcoin and move to a paperwallet and know it is safe versus burning some BTC for XCP then creating an asset and hoping nothing bad ever happens but I might as well go for it when I get a free moment.

  • What’s This You Say? More Crypto Radio? BitFM in route.

Chain Radio had a very successful launch in the past month and has been broadcasting nearly 24/7 since (minus some pesky DDOS attacks) and has seen incredible growth and it now appears that another two cryptocurrency radio stations are on the horizon.

What do you think of these various cryptocurrency related radio stations launching all across the Internet?

Do you think the efforts need to be more concentrated and combined or do you like the decentralized nature of having several stations?

Read the story and leave your thoughts here.

@william Why not use the auction system? If you offer a token, it is something I might be willing to bid on for future use.

I've been looking at doing this but frankly still don't trust Counterparty. My own wallet has lost it's balance previously, it wouldn't let me login yesterday (finally resolved) and it is just so buggy as it stands.

    Perhaps once the platform matures.

Yeah.... I understand that the platform is not perfect. On the other hand, I really would like to have a couple of these in my pocket for future use, and I can deal with the risk of holding them on a buggy platform. I mean, this is all kind of dabbling around, isn't it? Or maybe you could auction off a dogeparty asset, though I don't know if the LTBauction system is set up for that. And who knows, that might be even more buggy because it is newer.

Dogeparty asset would be VERY interesting. I'm not sure the auction system is set for it either.

Hmmmm. That could be very interesting.

@melisande How much do you think i should offer for a year ?

Send me a PM to discuss this.

Also, to everyone else, we've raised our rates to reflect the success our site has seen and are now EXCLUSIVELY accepting only LTBcoin for advertisements on Coin Fire.

I've edited the original post to reflect this.
