While most altcoins are getting slaughtered, LTC shines propelled higher by Litepay and a new fork. Bitcoin continues its gains as well but stopped short of a new rally. Bitcoin Higher but Stops Short of New Rally Bitcoin prices traded even higher si...

Re: You can't plagiarize facts
@bcohen There have been a few (well more than a few) instances where other venues have "misappropriated" my work without giving me credit. This is content I have created over here and at Bitcoin Magazine.
But I have never accused anyone of plagiarism and it is not copyright infringement either.
It sloppy journalism. It can also be unethical journalism. And sometimes downright dirty journalism.
Anyway I thought I would share this amazing video "dord" that was just posted by Vsauce
The video is 13 minutes long https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb0YoRMXIY0
so if you want to fast forward to the relevant part... go here http://youtu.be/nb0YoRMXIY0?t=6m28s (queued to 6:28)
So this is the first time I have learned about Esquivalience "Esquivalience" is a fictitious entry in the New Oxford American Dictionary (NOAD), which was designed and included to protect copyright of the publication." More at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esquivalience
Coincidentally I started my own version of Esquivalience in my articles. I haven't made up any facts but it can catch people who use my articles without crediting the true source. If the author of the other venue claims otherwise---gotcha!
LTB Authors who are interested in my version of "Esquivalience" can PM me and i'll be happy to share with authors and editors.
Google is doing this with maps. They will add small fake inlets, outlets and other fake drives to see which mapping companies are ripping off the maps they put out.

Re: LTBc Faucet
@cryptonaut The biggest problem with faucets always come down to the transaction fees. Even worse with a counterparty asset faucet because you would have to send to each address individually, instead of just calling the "sendmany" command in bitcoind and sending to a bunch of people at once..
Right now for our customized LTBcoin distributions we are paying about 0.00008 BTC per address, with a portion of that being technically recoverable (outputs that return to our addresses). Something to keep in mind
Do we happen to have any inside insight if that will change in the future?

Re: Price maniputlation
@crimsonroze those 3k sell orders are just someone wanting to cash up when the price rises. They don't "manipulate" the market any more than any other orders.
Actually, that is someone pushing the market down as the most recent sale was 0.00000185 BTC but what I am seeing is me trying to get some more BTC in my account to buy up the new orders that @mikerbiker6 pointed out since that means the new 3k sell orders are so much discounted to get cheap coins lol.

Re: Is it possible for LTBcoin to reach the value of $1 after 5 years ?
@coinfire
@coinfire Been watching the price climb today. Picking up some more since it appears to be on an upswing to build up my war chests.
But still you didn't answer the question, will it reach $1 at the end of the 5th year ?
Anything is possible. It could. I mean if you look at what people are paying for advertisements on the show right now even at like 280k it is still a steal.
That is why I am so long on this coin and buying buying buying right now.
May I know what is your strategy ?
I see that you are buying as you said and you insist on it by saying it 3 times, so basically you are sure that there is something wonderful in the making, am I right ?
And why don't you buy when the price gets more lower ?
And from your own opinion and experience, where it might get after 5 years ?
I was buying at the lower rates as I could but my funds that aren't earmarked for other stuff was tied up.
I believe something wonderful is in the making here, granted I could be horribly wrong but I am looking at it purely from the standpoint that these auction prices are just going to keep getting higher and higher as more people pour in here and more people listen to the podcast.
If the price gets lower, I'll for sure be buying then as well. I just don't know that we can hit much more of a bottom because the currency is getting more scarce, the auctions are getting more expensive.
I think five years from now we could see at least a dollar a coin. Again, I'm not an expert by any means but as I've been looking at this purely from a standpoint not to make a profit for myself personally but rather to have a chest for when the show has grown even more to get more advertisements.

Re: How do you deal with plagiarism?
Cool our jets folks. Going to lock this thread just to prevent any sort of fighting.
@lovebitcoins thanks for your support.
Love it here and yes, it sucks when this sort of thing happens but the goal wasn't to attack anyone including the site mentioned but rather see how others deal with this sort of thing ;)
P.S As far as your list go for it man! I would love to see a list because I love consuming the news just as much as I love writing it.
