Re: Finding Ads
Of course, we'd love to have a more diverse group of people/businesses competing for ad space. You might even convince @bcohen to give you a referral fee if you get anyone to use his LTB ad broker service: Bitofthis.
I would also wager @adam wouldn't outright refuse potential podcast content contributors either.

Re: Mining Interest for Non-Miners?
I've been extremely interested in mining sonce I first looked at Bitcoin around three years ago. My main concerns have shifted over time.
Originally it just wasnt worth it. It was something that mostly hobbiests were doing but it was still pretty cool. I didnt want to ruin my computer for a hobby so I passed.
Then when it was becoming profitable, I had neither the money nor the technical prowess to start a mining rig, so unfortunately I passed yet again.
Now, though it is a significant investment, I could buy a rig. However I pay around $0.13/kWh for electricity and so it just seems like an endlessly unprofitable move and I'm not in the business of throwing away money. I would get one, if I felt reasonably sure that I could breakeven. Then it would just be a speculative move on price.
Another big problem that I have with it now is the lack of use for the machines after their profitability has played out. There is no salvage value to fall back on when all is said and done.

Re: Listener Funded Content
I'm really, really behind this. I love hearing people's back story as opposed to their elevator pitches. You get a much better feel for the person behind the name/accomplishments.

Re: A thought on Ethereum...
@zak9494 Do you guys think it worth 1 btc to get 2000 ether in exchange?
I'm still debating this myself. I might throw even less at it, just to say that I did it. That way if it burns then the loss isn't that significant, and if it floats then I might still make something decent off of it or at least be able to make/use some contracts.
My biggest issue is that it has received way too much attention and so this crowdsale will likely be overbought. When the client comes to issue, there may be no actual buyers left and thus I could enter the game cheaper as the less resilient of the bunch sell off.

Re: How much BTC do you think is being held by Warren Buffet?
Warren Buffet has come out many times to say that no investor should ever invest in something that he/she does not understand. It's what kept him out of the dot-com bubble and many other situations that could have burned him terribly.
I believe that he has also come out to say that he doesn't understand bitcoin...At all. Which would lead me to believe that he doesn't hold any.

@bcohen @adam Only note is that you can additionally readily find my service by clicking on the ad on the top of the LTB front Page
I wouldn't mind if you cut and pasted the audio file from the last time you did the ad -- it doesn't have to be unique. --- how different is my service since the last time the advert aired? ;)
I mean.. Your number of successful bids keeps increasing, lol. Not a bad stat to throw out.
