Hey guys/gals, my name is Matt and I've been studying bitcoin behind the scenes since it's 2010. I'm a materials scientist, UI/UX designer and entrepreneur. I formally worked as a process engineer specializing in the development of thin film material.
In a recent former life I worked in a team of two to develop a hybrid social network that combined core attributes of twitter and facebook into a localized network. Unfortunately, the idea never took as it happens with most social startups. Since then I've spent a large amount of my time studying cryptocurrencies and the problems we need to solve in order to eliminate friction in adoption. I feel the world needs easier ways to mine cryptographic currencies that are outside of computational mining, which is what has led me to LTBcoin.

Re: LTB Forum Design
@kylerk I'm really quite thrilled with the advances that the whole LTBCoin is making. And the whole idea is extremely innovative and attractive.
The podcasts are great, the articles are interesting, but I have one nit pick.
The design of the Forums.
I'm a big reddit user so the forums here feel so outdated in comparison. I've made a side by side comparison to show the difference.
In one screen height of LTB forum, I'll see something like 3 lines of actual discussion. Whereas in the Reddit design, we get a huge amount of well organized texted.
As well, Reddit is organized as a hierarchy, which makes the discussions back and forth between people very easy to manage, without resorting to quoting other peoples text simply to reply to them.
I'm sure it doesn't feel like a very high priority, to change the design of a website when all this other stuff is happening, but we are trying to get people to participate in a discussion. And right now, the design of the system to participate in that discussion feels very outdated, and people who might want to participate here won't stay because the tools for them to talk aren't as good as the ones that they will find on reddit.
I'd happily pay some of my LTBcoin to make this change happen if that is a possibility.
Hmmmm.... Maybe I will get a sponsorship spot and make my voice even more loudly heard.
Hey Kyle! Thanks for the feedback! We thoroughly know the forums are poorly designed and I'm currently working on designing a completely new forum with a much better user experience. We're going to be incorporating a lot of new social features that will make a world of difference. We actually just decided last week to incorporate reddit style commenting hierarchy as you mentioned. @cryptonaut is completely backed up with development work at the moment with some other new features that are kicking off soon. Once that's finished I believe we will begin updating the forums with the new design. I've been working on it for it nearly a month now so hang tight good things are coming soon! Thanks again for the feedback :)

Re: Questions/Topics for todays session (Andreas/JeffreyTucker/Adam)
I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on LTBcoin as well as their plans on battling Bitlicense and how they think this might affect our industry (pros and cons).

Re: I was told there would be coins
@cap2002 Just testing out this stuff .. LTBcoin. Interesting. I want me some. :-)
Make sure you get in 5 non-spammy posts each week to get your fill in! ;)
what if i made 10 non spammy post? are more than 5 posts counted per week?
Yes you get credit for all posts each week through the LTBcoin proof of participation (PoP) protocol. Every time you make a posts you get a certain amount of points which is rated against everyone else's PoP points each week and the alloted funds are distributed on a percentage basis.

Re: Are JEDI's going to have their own secret language?
@jack JEDI should be able to speak to each other secretly right?
What did you have in mind?
Something innovative something that has not been done before. I'm not very good at this sort of thing. But it maybe it would be something that would distinguish JEDI from non-JEDI. lol iDK
Maybe other JEDI's have an idea?
SITH you mean? Backwards talk we.

Re: LTBcoin community response to BitLicense
Yes absolutely agree.
Bitlicense as is will be detrimental to the industry we need to organize a community to prevent the powers that be from destroying everything we are working for.
How can we do this?

Re: Anyone else get 22+ billion HATE tokens?
@viper What the heck?!? How can I get in on the HATE bandwagon? Seriously though, I know nothing about "assets". Can someone just create something like that out of thin air? Or do you convert one asset into another?
Yep with a little bit of XCP and Bitcoin through a few clicks you can create your own asset. I'm writing an article soon about how to create and distribute an asset. Be sure to read it! It'll be part of the crypto for change blog.
