Re: The Red Pill Episode
How about offering the real Red Pill? Will it be technically feasible to offer LTBcoin faucet to the listeners who would like to give it a go?

Re: Should LTB charge for its podcasts
Bonus update once a month is a good idea. It also means the content is free but people will have to pay for value added layer that exists on top of the content.
I reckon the target audience are the ones who wants an update about the various developments in the Bitcoin ecosystem but do not have time to look into it themselves. They will be willing to pay for the bonus updates.

Re: Should LTB charge for its podcasts
As Bitcoin miners are compensated for Proof of Work with 25 Bitcoins, Podcast producers are compensated for providing Proof of Content with X amount of LTBcoins every week.
The model and the ecosystem is based on the equation that Bitcoin and LTBcoin will appreciate in value 5 years down the road in future.
The issue of paying the content providers should be addressed in depth may be 3-4 years down the road when the distribution tapers down. It also enables LTB Network to be mature and stable in the meantime.
It is too early to address the issue but it should be in the back burner for now.
Providing the high value content for free is one of the key marketing tool for promoting the whole LTB ecosystem.

Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling?
@maygor Saving & Investing is the best combination for a sane economy model. In other words, both Holding (saving) & Investing (spending).
By the way, despite news and feelings, if we look the "all time" btc chart we can see a clear pattern...
Besides, we have the Metcalfe's law analisys explained here with an excellent chart: "Metcalfe's Law: Bitcoin Price and Adoption Analysis for the Future" http://bit.ly/1pnlAtb
[Wiki: Metcalfe's law states that the value of a telecommunications network is proportional to the square of the number of connected users of the system]
If you apply Metcalfe's law, value of Bitcoin should be proportional to number of Bitcoin nodes ^ 2. The chart correlates value of Bitcoin to unique Bitcoin address ^ 2. one unique Bitcoin address does not map to one unique Bitcoin node.

Re: New York Regulation - What Does it Mean for LTBcoin?
New York != Planet Earth and the fact is New York does not have global jurisdiction.
New York does not decide the destiny of Planet Earth, on the other hand Planet Earth will decide the fate of New York.

Re: [50k][WRITING BOUNTY]Re-write the LetsTalkbitcoin.com Data Policy, Music page, about page and show history page
@cryptonaut @lainfinity yes thats correct. Every PHP based site that uses server sessions at all (i.e, most of them) creates a session identifier cookie for the user whenever you load up the site. The session (which is actually stored on the server, not in cookie) only generally holds any information once you actually log in.
You will probably find that almost any site you visit on the web will at least give you one of those small identifier cookies.
I got it so in the cookie policy I will mention that the website uses a session cookie when the registered users log-in and a persistent cookie if the user wants to remember the password. The password is stored in the persistent cookie as an encrypted token which will expire in 30 days.
I want to make sure I got it right. Thanks

Re: [50k][WRITING BOUNTY]Re-write the LetsTalkbitcoin.com Data Policy, Music page, about page and show history page
@lainfinity @adam what type of cookies does the site use? Persistent cookies or Session Cookies.
If persistent cookies are used for how many days it is stored in the client machines?
Does the site uses cookies to customize each user, collect statistical data, targeted advertising?
Does cookies play any role in the experimentation in future?
@cryptonaut - I actually don't know any of these answers, can you please weigh in when you get a chance?
The only cookies used on the site currently are actually just for when you check off "remember me" when logging in, which just stores an encrypted access token for your account. I believe the expiration for that cookie is like 30 days. Other than that it is just the PHP session identifier, which lasts until you close your browser.
We have no plans for using cookies to gather extra statistical information without your knowledge or target advertising towards you.
Thank you very much for the info. I tried to login by blocking cookies but the site did not let me login. when I unblocked the cookies I was able to login.
When I browsed the cookies I found out that the PHP session identifier places a session cookie in the local browser.
I can only browse the contents without logging if I block cookies.
