Re: Talkether.org: Open beta release of Ethereum's first mining pool with decentralized mining process
@goefells Trying to follow the guide, but having issues in your steps for windows. I've installed the Java SE binary, but whenever I dbl click on the talkether.jar file nothing happens. No setup or anything. I'm on windows 7 x64.
Did you try open a command line (cmd)? Rrun it with:
java -jar talkether-client.jar
The website has a new look and we have added some cool user statistics and worker monitoring too. Check it out: www.talkether.org
The pool hashrate has increased to 11.5GH, tendency still rising. That means that payouts should have low variance and steady. Payouts are done 2 times per day with a minimum payout of 1ETH. Fee is still 0%
In the talkether client version 0.0.14 we did some minor eth client support bugfixes.
We would be happy to see you on the pool, give it a try and check out if you like most users get higher payouts compared to other pools too.
Yeah I have tried the CMD route-- get error unable to access. Running as administrator as well.
Sigh. Would like to try this out. Tried reinstalling Java as well. not sure what else to try.
Did you frist moved to the directory, where the talkether-client is in or run it with full path like:
java -jar C:\FolderWhichContainsTalketherClient\talkether-client.jar
Thank you so much :D. I've made it to the ethminer point, but I have run into another issue though. My miners are behind a pretty serious proxy so I cannot actually send out data across that port. Is there anyway to possibly open up a port 80/443 so I can test that out?

Re: [ETHEREUM] Ethereumpool.co - Reliable Mining Pool
@ethereumpool Please update your ethminer to the latest version or build directly from eth repo from master branch
How do you update ethminer? I just downloaded the available one from cryptomining blog. Currently mining on another pool with it just fine(not mining to my address, mining to my pool account).
I'll attempt to rebuild the miner from the repo, see if that works.
EDIT
Managed to get it to work, mining there now :)
I must say, as weird as mining Ether is compared to x11 or scrypt, it was actually quite dam easy to set up overall. I guess not being able to fiddle with settings does lower the tinkering time. But yeah, solid 90Mhs extra for your pool :)

Re: [ETHEREUM] Ethereumpool.co - Reliable Mining Pool
My stats are not showing up on your page? When I put my miner address into the field it just says:
MINER IS INACTIVE or It seems your ethminer does NOT have function called eth_submithashrate. To get valid and reliable statistics please update your ethminer to lastest version. This affects only statistics, it does NOT affect revenue! If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us.
How can I tell if my mining is yielding any shares?
