The article is really interesting! I appreciate the decision of the Bank of England to conduct a study on cryptographic currencies and to introduce a national cryptocurrency by next year. Digital currencies continue to generate excitement these days....

Your old wallet.dat should still work from your old Protoshares wallet.
Start by downloading a new Bitshares PTS wallet from https://github.com/BitShares/BitShares-PTS/releases.
Your holdings of PTS entitles you automatically to some Bitshares-X coins. You can download a Bitshares-X wallet from here: http://bitshares-x.info/. To claim the Bitshares-X, you can import a copy of your PTS wallet.dat file into the Bitshares-X wallet.
It's a bit confusing, but if you have more than just a few PTS, it will likely be worth your trouble.
There have been some technical difficulties with the RSS feeds lately. I know that @cryptonaut is working on a fix - probably at this very moment.
I just launched a new service that will email you when you receive LTBcoin, Bitcoin or any Counterparty Asset.
I call it (wait for it) EmailMe.
You can find it at http://coinmachine.co.
I built this for myself, primarily, because I have counterparty addresses that receive funds from time to time. But I wanted something more convenient than logging into counterwallet and checking the history.
I use email a lot, so it was a perfect fit for me.
The first 2 notifications for an address are free. After that, it is 3 mBTC or 1,000 LTBcoin (even better) to buy monitoring of a single address with no limit.
This is my own project. I will use the funds to pay for the server hosting and hopefully fund some future development on more LTBcoin related projects.
I hope you like it. I hope you use it. I hope it makes your life a little easier. And I hope it furthers the utility of LTBcoin just a little more.
Comments, suggestions, and snide remarks are welcome.
Nice move, @rotalumis...
Ok. It's on tomorrow. Brrrr...
It hasn't been released. It is still in development.
I think a proof-of-tip reward is still planned. But the platform is changing fast, so I can't say for sure what the specs will be.
Interesting.
The tip bots for external services are definitely a phase 2 project for me after the internal LTB tipping is all running smoothly.
Ok, @faceface, let's try this again, shall we?

Hopefully this one will confirm more quickly. That last one took forever.
Haha. Stupid satoshis decimal conversion...

I'll send the correct amount later tonight. Sorry for the confusion.
That's right! It's not a bug, it's a feature. :)
That's good feedback that the -04:00 is not real clear that it is a timezone, though. So thanks.
