To get emails when the front page is updated, try this:
Go to https://ifttt.com and sign up for an account. Then create a recipe that sends you an email when an RSS feed is updated. You can then use the front page RSS feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/letstalkbitcoin/frontpagearticles and you will receive an email automatically when it is updated*.
I believe you can also receive emails when users comment on an article, just hit the "subscribe" button at the very bottom of the comments. You must have a Discuss account with an email address for this to work.
@thewittyhawk The only one I had in mind was namecoin.
Oh, got it. Accepting other Counterparty assets would be fairly easy. But accepting coins from other blockchains (like namecoin) is considerably harder.
@bcohen, @rob, and @loon3 - You're IT!

@cryptonaut, the notifier now ignores transactions that come from the same address. So change transactions won't trigger a notification.
I added a few more free notifications to your account to compensate for the false positive and say thanks for the feedback.
@thewittyhawk The site looks really nice and I will definitely be signing up. Do you have any thoughts on accepting more then just bitcoin and LTBc?
It is certainly possible to modify it to accept other tokens. Is there one in particular you had in mind?
Looks like this one:

Thanks.
@cryptonaut I just noticed an issue with this.
Sent out a transaction from my counterwallet to somebody. I had like 0.02 in change from that address which came right back to me, which sent me a notification. Any way you can make it ignore payments from the same address (i.e don't notify when you get your change outputs back)?
Wait? You mean you want it to be intelligent? :)
Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll work on that today.
@cherapple - Sorry you didn't get them. All the logs say that the 2 emails were successfully delivered to your email address earlier this morning.
Did perhaps gmail put them in a separate tab?
And @cryptonaut, just confirming that you receive your notification email as expected.
@munchy-yumyums I can't seem to reach the page?
Was http://www.coinmachine.co/emailme/ down for you? It is all good this morning. Is it ok now for you?
@cherapple I'd love a record of my payment receipts! And something to spend some LTBcoin on. I'm signing up. Thank you!
Thanks @cherapple.
As a thanks, for being my first signup, I sent you a small payment so you can see it in action. :)
