Re: LTBcoin Update - Weighted "Likes" & Article Submission Fees
@jayek I didn't hear what happened last week but I like the idea of this. Also makes my approval worth a bit more, haha.
Yes, take advantage of the "like" button, the more "high-level" members use it, the less coin spammers get :p it will be nicer when it is in the form of upvote/downvote arrows

Re: Site is slow?
@cryptonaut It does seem to be loading a little bit slow right now. I am getting between 2 and 3 second page loading times for the home page and the forums... could be worse, but I will have to look into it.
You should look at EarnFreeBitcoin too since that site is even worse....... ;)
Yeah im aware of that also... it needs some serious TLC :p soon though

Re: Introducing XCoinCall - Place Calls using Bitcoins
Looks interesting, confused on one thing though...
For a limited time, your first deposit gets tripled (up to the value of 0.3 BTC). We will be repeating this offer, so watch our site for any offers.
Are you saying that if I deposit 0.1 BTC, you will triple that to a total of 0.3 BTC in my account, and then I can just withdraw that if I want? Or are you saying that if I deposit 0.1 BTC, you would give me 0.3 BTC worth of phone/calling credit or something?

Re: Verify via Sign Message
Its been an issue for a while but I am not sure what is taking so long for the CounterWallet guys to fix it. I pinged the developers on it, so hopefully soon! https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/counterwallet/issues/309

Re: GAW Increasing Hashlet Prices Again
@izerian Quoting reddit is like quoting 4chan, but no matter. Time will tell.
Best wishes.
EDIT: @cryptonaut
You dont even need to see what people are saying on reddit, you can go to paycoin.com, hash-talk forums or the twitter of the CEO and see the delusional madness for yourself. Soooo many red flags at every corner.
Try going on their official forums and post something even remotely critical of GAW or paycoin. Guarantee that within minutes your account will be banned and post deleted. Thats pretty messed up if you ask me.
I would be willing to bet money that by january or february the whole thing is going to come crashing down.

@izerian A bit late to post, but sounds promising if you've been following them...

actually, all signs point to it being a huge scam now. its pretty bad.
Just check out these threads on reddit:

also, just read their paycoin website: https://paycoin.com/ and think for 5 minutes about it... hmmm, a crypto currency which uses "HybridFlex blockchain technology" (wtf?), "has direct integration with banking and credit cards", "is backed by USD" and "launches with more merchant adoption than any cryptocurrency in history" (supposedly this includes direct acceptance from walmart, target and amazon). Hilarious... and no code of course and tons of marketing BS. FISHY AS HELL

Re: Open Discussion on Forum Rules, Spam and Post Quality
@braegnok Banning folks for using slang words or typos sounds extreme,..
My ex-wife was an English major and I used to love seeing her cringe when I demonstrated my poor English proficiency during fancy dinner party's with her coworkers,.. lol
Some folks just Ain't got no language skills,.. banning them Ain't gonna change em.
Its ok, we dont actually ban people for silly reasons like that (even if some others have suggested it) :)

Re: Bitcoin.com.au rant
interesting, that is the first time I have heard of a domain actually getting taken away due to "bad registrant info"

Re: LTBcoin Update - Weighted "Likes" & Article Submission Fees
@rassmus74 Good changes makes everything more fair. But unique views should be worth less. Seems like some people just views without actually reading just to get points....
Actually a previous change we made a couple weeks ago makes it so you get a lot less points for only viewing content. Pretty much the max amount of points you can get from viewing stuff in a single day is only 10 points (about the same as a single forum post). After 10 points the points-per-view drops off dramatically (for example, if you viewed 1000 new pages in a single day, you would only get about 22 points...not very much)
