Re: Possible Solution to the spam problem
@irnhnve What if you did not ban/delete any of the spam post, but rather marked the account as spam. That way they would think they were successfully posting, but any content they posted would never actually appear on the forum. There's less incentive to make "burner" accounts since they think that they're getting away with it.
We actually already do that :p but it doesn't seem to work well with this latest wave of spammers, they only ever use a single account one or twice regardless.

Re: LTB Network Tutorials! Here's What We're Doing, What Are We Missing?
Good stuff man. It would be cool if along with the videos it included the full text transcript and then mix in some screenshots

Re: Possible Solution to the spam problem
I kind of like the idea of blocking posts which try to submit links until they have reached a threshold.. not so sure on the limiting of thread creation though.
The captcha right now is only on the registration side, maybe these guys are just manually creating accounts, and then letting the bot go through the login form? Im going to apply it on both ends and maybe try some other things today, see what happens

Re: Overstock and Counterparty devs split ways
Heres a comment from Adam (main counterparty dev) on chat earlier:
Evan, Robby and I will all be working on Counterparty for the foreseeable future.
Development is moving at breakneck speed.
Medici will still be built on Counterparty.
And I'm advising Overstock on Medici's technical strategytl;dr, good news :p
