  • Re: Get up to 10k LTBCoin every week !

    @rukilang

@paolo09 well, i made 11k coins last week but didn't posted that much and got a referral which is not so much active, but i have read a lot the website and commented every now and then to interesting topics :)

Wow.. just read ? i will try it..

yeah, viewing lots of articles and forum posts is a good way to get extra points besides just posting.

  • Re: LTB FAQ or help

@bloodyrich now i have 12 magic words accepted, going back 1 month. My address has 4 different types of tokens, address is verified LTB compatible, but no distribution yet. How do I find out either when it will happen or if something is not working?

hmmm.. so to clarify, you have never received a single LTBcoin distribution?

  • Re: Do we get LTBCoin for commenting on pages via Disqus?

@adam @cryptonaut can you fix this with disqus?

Doesnt look like there is a setting that I can change to disable autoplaying of videos etc. However I just disabled "media attachments", which should make it so videos/images arnt automatically embedded in comments. not sure if that is a sufficient solution?

  • Re: Introduce yourself!

@valanor hi everyone, i'm Billy from Indonesia i'm a new member here :) can anyone explain me about LTBCoin ? is LTB coin address same as BTC address ? i used counter wallet address for LTB but it looks like BTC address @_@

They are all the same thing. LTBcoin address is the same as a Counterwallet address is the same as a Bitcoin address. We just specifically say "counterwallet address" or "ltbcoin address" to clarify that you need to use a special wallet in order to see and use your LTBcoins (http://counterwallet.co)

  • [Coins for Commits] LTB Platform - Now Open Source!

    Hey all

After being frequently pushed back, we now finally have the LTB CMS platform open sourced! The platform itself is called "Tokenly" and can be found on GitHub over here: https://github.com/cryptonaut420/tokenly

Keep in mind that the whole system is still in heavy development, and for the most part has so far been used exclusively by LetsTalkBitcoin.com.

Anyone is free to download and make changes and anyone can contribute, but any new code contributions will be reviewed personally by me before making it into the master branch. Trying to keep it from becoming a nasty spaghetti code mess :)

Currently our main place for organizing what needs to be done, assigning tasks etc.. is here: https://trello.com/b/sU2rcKen/ltb-platform-support . There is also a general To Do list in the main repository (platform documentation is a major item on that list)

If anyone is interested in becoming part of the main development team, feel free to shoot me a message.

    Coins for Commits

Are you a web developer? Introducing a new way to earn LTBcoin... the "Coins for Commits" program! The program is simple - you get 10,000 LTBcoin for every pull request that has been reviewed and actually makes it into the master branch of the github repository. I reserve the right to deny pull requests and rewards as I see fit (code should follow standards and be at least a somewhat substantial change.. e.g not just a few typo fixes).

More information on code standards etc. coming soon.

    Cheers

  • Re: Get up to 10k LTBCoin every week !

@wassup 10k is almost impossible if you don't have any referrals or you don't write and publish any articles.

actually, you just need to be quite a bit more active then most everyone else :p I got just over 10K LTBcoin from this last weekends proof of participation rewards (didnt write any articles, was just from all my forum posts and pages I viewed)

  • Re: Empty Feedburner RSS

for some reason even though the RSS feeds are valid, the google feedburner proxy is being really really finicky. soooo annoying!

  • Re: Verification of LTBcoin address

@mandrake Just realized that I did have ANOTHER counterwallet account earlier, but that account was connected to the counterwallet testnet with test adresses (which I unfortunately added to my LTB account thinking they where real, these addresses started with a letter and not "1").

When I realized that my counterwallet account was only an account for the testnet, I created a new counterwallet account which I now use. Could it somehow be that my LTBcoins are connected to a this testnet counterwallet (I don't think I have the passphrase left to that account!). Furthermore my LTBcoins ARE associated an address which starts with "1"(!) and not with a letter as for the counterwallet testnet addresses. Confused... me too!

what are the specific addresses you have been using? (you can message them to me if you want)

  • Re: RSS for the Forum?

Yep. That RSS code actually uses the same code as the Web API (which is being used by the official podcast app). We are adding in forum functionality to the API, so once thats up it shouldnt be a problem adding the same to the RSS feed generator

  • Re: BKEYCHAINUSA.XCP - Token for a physical item

@adam Hey Rob, Given the cost of doing an auction what do you think about doing a "bulk" auction that will allow the winner to resell them, and make it so your cost to auction a bunch of tokens is much less since its just one auction instead of 10 or 20.

    Might be interesting.

that would be interesting. Buy a bunch of the tokens in bulk and then try and resell them individually for a profit. Could be done with other physical items as well. hmm..
