Re: LTB Alexa rank.
Keep in mind that the data from Alexa literally mostly just comes from people who download and use their browser toolbar, which isnt that many people really. Their stats can be wildly inaccurate
We have been growing a lot though. Here are some quick actual stats from the past few months:
- May: 19,000 visitors
- June: 38,000 visitors
- July: 73,000 visitors
- August: 112,000 visitors
- September (so far): 55,000 visitors

Re: I think you need more Mods here
OK, thanks. I still think the Mods and Admins should be a little more identifiable and easier to locate. Can't your usernames be a different colour, or something like that?
yeah, distinguishing members in different user groups is one of the items on our to do list

Re: I think you need more Mods here
@page I think there needs to be a way to flag a whole thread. The problem was one of the threads looked like it might not have been started by a bot and flagging each post would be too much work.
There should be the same "Flag/Report" link on the first post in a thread you can use. Sends out a "thread has been reported..." notification instead of "post has been reported"

Re: I think you need more Mods here
I was sleeping when all this went down :)
Looks like most of the spam was cleared up already by the time I got on, except for that mega long thread in the politics section which I just deleted.
All those spammer accounts were registered with random emails from @meltmail.com. 700 of them registered in the past 2 days... they are deleted now

Re: EARNFREEBTC.XCP - Earn BTC with your CounterWallet
Weekly dividend paid. Bit of a slow week this time. The new ad deal that I mentioned earlier actually did go through, but it turned out to be a fiat cash transaction. Payouts from that will have to wait until I can get it converted into BTC.

Re: PETAMINE.XCP - Mine bitcoin with your counterwallet! [Vote Complete]
Weekly dividend paid! Bit less than last week, but in terms of pure amount of shares, we are still growing: 10 PETAMINE = 1.127 havelock shares
So its been about a month now since this has been started. Time for a quick status review
Month in Review Aug 12th - Sept 12th
- Starting Havelock Shares: 430
- Total Havelock Shares Purchased (direct): 1,379
- Total Havelock Shares Purchased (re-investment): 236
- Total Shares at End of Period: 2,045
- PETAMINE Tokens in Existance: 18,198.4
- Share Ratio Increase: 12.7% (10 PETAMINE = 1.127 on havelock)
- Total BTC Invested: 1.82 BTC
- Mining Dividends Received: 0.40756822 BTC
- Mining Dividends Re-invested: 0.195632746 BTC
- PETAMINE Dividends Paid Out: 0.20378411 BTC
- Management Fees Collected: 0.008151368 BTC
- Havelock Price Aug 12th: 0.00185 BTC
- Havelock Price Sept 12th: 0.000588 BTC ( ~ 70% decrease)
- Sept 12th Total Fund Value: 1.20246 BTC
All in all... price crashed down quite a bit just a week or two after the fund was started. Daily mining rewards also dropped a fair amount during that same time period (probably related). Overall the fund is down, which sucks. Mining operation still seems to be running full steam though, so hopefully we can at least reach the break even point in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Re: Bitcoin Keychain - "LTB Auctioneer" Auction
@cryptonaut @Rob do you care if we re-sell the tokens individually to people? (I was the winner of the recent auction :) )
I do not care, but even if I did, what could I do about it? :)
I would like to follow Adam's free-market thoughts about these tokens, just to see what happens. So you may do whatever you want with them. Thanks for bidding on them!
great, will do!

Re: Own an Island with FOUNDER.xcp
Interesting project. I would definitely pitch in if I had some spare coin :p
I was actually involved with the whole Sealand thing (was part of the core group) back in the day when The Pirate Bay was going to purchase it. Once the deal fell through and sealand refused to sell [to pirates], the group split off and we created something called the FreeNation Foundation. At that point we had plans to raise a bunch of money to straight up buy a whole island. I think we raised only like a couple hundred bucks in donations or something. Then a few months later it just sort of died off. Was fun though :)

Re: BitcoinComic.org/SWARM.co with ComicCoin.XCP
@mikerbiker6 yet another shitcoin, eroding the reputation of the altcoin space. What a shame...
Yet another uninformed comment - eroding the reputation of the poster. What a shame...
It is not an altcoin, it is a Counterparty token that represents voting rights in the project. It is being used as part of the funding round on SWARM.
yeah I dont get why it seems to be difficult for some people to tell the difference between a user created metacoin (like on counterparty, mastercoin or other) and your regular alt-coin clones that has their own blockchain and network
