Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@dgiors It's been mentioned several times that divs can be paid to multiple addresses in one transaction. Would it make sense to distribute LTBC as a token that pays dividends? That way tokens could be distributed Monthly, quarterly etc. and dividends will be paid weekly. There is some down side, like having to wait longer for tokens when you earn them.
Dividends wont really work because the rewards are based on site participation rather than how much LTBcoin you already have. e.g, if there was 100,000 LTBcoin, and we sent 50,000 new LTBcoin as dividends, then if you owned 10% of all ltbcoin already, you would get 5,000 out of that. In other words it would be based on how much tokens you already own rather than contributions on the site.

Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@deweller I think the issue is that each counterparty "SEND" transaction is separate. There is no way to send to 2 different addresses in one transaction.
So, you cannot save space by compressing a data stream with multiple sends because they must remain independent from each other and live as separate entities on the Bitcoin block chain.
Exactly. But the thing is, it appears that asset dividends are paid using a single transaction, so that makes me wonder why couldnt a general multi-send be in one tx? If they built something like this into the protocol that would basically solve it. not sure how feasible that is though

Re: Get your LTBCOIN Address Now!
@xaulted I just now put my CP address in my profile. Did I miss out on the initial distribution?
I think so but i believe you may also need 5 posts (or at least you did) I think they are planning on rolling out a few coins over the weeks to come but don't quote me on that.
The 5 post thing is only for part of the amount set aside for the initial distribution, which i believe is being sent out in 4 parts, once each friday to give users a chance to come on and put in their address.
Proof of participation rewards are now active though, so every saturday even if you just lurk the forums or make the occasional comment, you will get some amount of LTB
