These numbers will be regularly updated as time goes on. Dividend history is available on blockscan.com
Questions/concerns? Let me know.
Why do you do this?
What do you mean?

Re: [Feature Request] Default Forum Clock based on Adam's local time.
One of the change requests is to allow users to set their own timezone, so everything will show up based on their local time. We are going to do that instead of adding a clock

Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates
@wildjo Thanks for the quick reply.
I was able to get BTC into the right wallet address and get verified. A very simple process.
awesome.
I believe we are still waiting on CounterWallet to fix their bug which causes invalid signed messages. Once they fix that, you won't need to do the verification-by-donation anymore

Re: LTB Web API
There is a set of double quotes in the JSON data returned for user profile information that is causing a syntax error when I try to parse it:
http://letstalkbitcoin.com/api/v1/profile/user/loon3
They're in the href tag in the label for fieldId 3.
ah yes, that makes sense. Will fix, thanks

@karasako @cryptonaut, what happens if 'hell breaks loose' and the investment starts not to be profitable.
What's the strategy? You'll try to sell the original shares back and divide/give to the investors to minimise their loss?
Sth else?
heh, I was waiting for someone to ask this actually.
In the event that PetaMine starts going bankrupt and shutting down.. all shares will be immediately sold off to recover as much funds as possible (probably at a bit of a loss given the required situation). A vote will then be held to decide what to do. Option #1 would be to take the recovered funds and invest it in a different mining operation. Option #2 would be to to give back the remaining funds to all investors proportionally (basically, you would send back your PETAMINE and get some BTC returned)
@redmonds84 Ok so the xcp is for trading currency and the petamine are what hold the value ? I have read a lot about this stuff and wonder if anyone could suggest what they would do with theirs. Thank you in advance
XCP is the primary token used in CounterParty to create new assets (other than that it, doesnt have any relation to the PETAMINE tokens...). XBTC is the token we pay dividends in, which can be traded with (faster/easier than trading with BTC) and can be converted directly back to BTC whenever. The PETAMINE tokens get value from the fact that you receive XBTC dividends every week just for holding on to them.
Does that clear things up for you a bit?

Re: LTB / Tokenly Platform Updates
Been a little while since I have posted an update. Mostly have been wrestling with the podcast RSS fees lately (which seem to be working for the most part now).
New feature time!
You can now access your "Token Inventory" from your dashboard. This area tracks the balances of any counterparty tokens held by any verified, XCP (counterparty) compatible addresses that you have submitted via the Address Manager. You can also click on some of the asset names to pop up a (sometimes) detailed description of each asset. We will be filling out these descriptions as we go along.
This is the second out of three main components for the "Token Controlled Access" (TCA) system we are building, which is coming very soon and will add various new functionality around the site.
Also, you can now set addresses via the Address Manager to be public or private. For e.g, if you set your primary LTBcoin address to private, it will no longer show on your public profile page.

@cryptozio I mean, can I send my petamines from counterwallet to havelock?
no you can't, this is independently run by myself and I don't have any connection with Havelock other than being an investor. That would be cool though :p I have yet to come in contact with the higher ups over there

@cryptozio If I would want to sell the Petamine bought with this "promo" how can I do that?
You can use the DEX (Decentralized Asset Exchange) built in to counterwallet.co
There aren't any petamine markets, if I insert petamine/btc I don't see any buy/sell order. Can they be sent to an Havelock Petamine address like an ordinary altcoin?
There isnt really any market for it yet because it's only a couple days old. There needs to be enough people that both want to sell and want to buy. Im not sure what you mean by petamine addess like a ordinary altcoin?

Re: Does anyone know why bit coin has been so quickly in the past few days
people ask this constantly every single time there is a drop. Nobody really knows (hint: there isnt just one reason for a price drop.. many variables).. but really its just supply and demand.

@kylerk its in the works already. Basically everything you see right now is more or less a placeholder for future upgrades
