@karasako
@cryptonaut, what happens if 'hell breaks loose' and the investment starts not to be profitable.
What's the strategy? You'll try to sell the original shares back and divide/give to the investors to minimise their loss?
Sth else?
heh, I was waiting for someone to ask this actually.
In the event that PetaMine starts going bankrupt and shutting down.. all shares will be immediately sold off to recover as much funds as possible (probably at a bit of a loss given the required situation). A vote will then be held to decide what to do. Option #1 would be to take the recovered funds and invest it in a different mining operation. Option #2 would be to to give back the remaining funds to all investors proportionally (basically, you would send back your PETAMINE and get some BTC returned)
@redmonds84
Ok so the xcp is for trading currency and the petamine are what hold the value ? I have read a lot about this stuff and wonder if anyone could suggest what they would do with theirs. Thank you in advance
XCP is the primary token used in CounterParty to create new assets (other than that it, doesnt have any relation to the PETAMINE tokens...). XBTC is the token we pay dividends in, which can be traded with (faster/easier than trading with BTC) and can be converted directly back to BTC whenever. The PETAMINE tokens get value from the fact that you receive XBTC dividends every week just for holding on to them.
Does that clear things up for you a bit?
