Bitcoin Quiz - Want to help?
Hi.
I'm working on making a bitcoin quiz that I will use so I can introduce beginners and newcomers to the ecosystem in a fun and userfriendly way.
The quiz questions should be fairly short textually and there needs to be between two and four answers to each question where at east one of the answers is correct, and at least one of the answers is incorrect.
Anyone want to give it a shoot and write up some questions here?
Clarification: please add which is the correct answer(s) when you post questions here

Re: Right time to buy in some Bitcoin
@mikerbiker6 The price has been declining this whole week for no apparent reason.
See NY regulation news for your reason.
Is it just me or has US bitcoin news more influence than global bitcoin news?
Look at http://coinmap.org/ to see which news have what effect. News about russia, australia and south africa don't have too much effect atm, news of China, the US or the larger countries in the EU does.

Re: Gravatar for Bitcoin?
@rockhoward 'Proof of Existence' is a service that helps you claim that a given file existed at a certain point in time. That is very close to what you need.
No, it's actually quite far from what I need. Proof of existence does not help distributing the information and it also stores the proof directly in the bitcoin blockchain, creating further burden for miners and full nodes to deal with.

Gravatar for Bitcoin?
Hi people. I've been looking for a gravatar style service based on bitcoin public addresses rather than emails since I'd rather share a piece of information that is public, than one that is private.
(My email is private)
After looking around I have found blockbadge.com who claims to offer that service but they are having technical issues and I can't even create an account with them. Preferably I would like a service in which I can login to the service with BitID and then upload any (short) key:value pair of information I want, not only avatar images. I would also like to sign all data I supply so that there is permanent proof that I claim to be linked to the data I've supplied. No backsies.
Does anyone know of such a service? Would anyone be willing to create one if it does not yet exist?
I would find such a service valuable and if it hosted some fields for free (name, avatar) I would not mind paying to host more information (birth, age, gender, location, email, phone numbers) with it.
I guess what i'm saying here is that I would like to take one of my public addresses, and make it my identity by publicly linking it to personal information about me.
(I would also make more than one identity, and use them differently.)

Re: Gravatar support
Actually. Scrap that. The site doesn't work, so it's kinda useless.

Re: Gravatar support
You also have public addressess on the bitcoin network for people, maybe you should consider http://www.blockbadge.com/ ?
Pretty much the same service, except it uses public addresses instead of emails.

Re: See the difference scams hosting
So, I clicked the links and took a peek. (From a virtualized computer, reverting to a snapshot afterwards) and it is just two sites that offer dedicated servers / hosting for bitcoin. I assume the one who posted the thread either tried them and found them to be scams, or owns them and is trying scam others.
