  • Re: Professional illustrator available for commissions.

    @littleshibe Here are a few of my illustrations, message me if you have any questions.

    I'm looking for someone who can do a set of images for a paper-doll system that is for generic roleplay/fantasy gaming purpose. To illustrate what I mean I'm looking for art to replace the "character creation" process in http://www.rogue-online.net/ where you can chose hair, face, eyes etc.

    Extending it further I'm interested in making art for all spells, jobs, factions etc that can be found on the site menu.

    I assume this is a costly process, but I have some LTBc and some Bitcoins and if this kinda of work fits your idea of things worthy to invest your time into, then i'd like to discuss it further.

    I also have a skillset related to computers and host and develop webbased application professionally. (Note thoguh, rogue-online is 6 years old.)

    Let me know what you think of things and how to proceed if it's interesting.

    @montello Bitcoin and Family Economics, CSR Quietly Revises Bitcoin Report

    I have gone through your write-up its really interesting, nice job.

    Thanks. I have a few more articles that are more or less ready, so hopefully we'll see more of my articles published soon enough.

  • Re: [FUNDRAISER] Educational Video: Family Economics.

    Updated the slideshow!

    @rockbarcellos

    Sweet. I've taken the updated art, added manual timings and better animations. In the 2-of-3 frame it has a much longer text than the others and it covers both how it works for the child, but also how it works for the family when an economical crises is imminent. Could you perhaps split that into two separate frames? If possible, could you make a few more frames for the placeholders in the animation?

    @tim-tams

    We've put together my article text, your recording and rockbarcellos artwork to create a slideshow animation. It is great but I have a few concerns that I was hoping you could help me with. Some of the frames include things that are a bit superflous and I show them as "?" in the slideshow. Could you cut out some of them from the recording? (Most likely only one needs to be cut, depending on what art rockbarcellos make for those that is missing art today)

    We're making progress!

  • Re: Help me pick an android phone: 1,000 ~ 10,000 LTBc

    @noobdan Which country are you from? Indian brands/Chinese once are quiet cheap and of good quality here in asia

    I'm from sweden, looking to get the Philips W6610 as it has both english and google play. The issue is I have to cross a language barrier (sites in non-english) and international borders (shipping internationally) to get the phone I want.

    Why oh why don't modern companies at least try and make things easy to buy, regardless of where you are?

  • Re: Help me pick an android phone: 1,000 ~ 10,000 LTBc

    @nicojuritz A N900 is the best option here it's got all the qualities you require of an Android LTB phone trust me.

    Except it cannot run mycelium, and the usb charging port falls off :(

    (Used a N900 for a very long time, nothing since have even come close to it in terms of functionality)

  • Re: Why the price of LTBcoins is going down and down ?

    @asdolino Personally I don't care about the current LTB value.

    I believe in this project and I won't dump my coins in the future but I will spend them to buy goods or services.

    I've already tried this, and succeeded to some degree. I've bought art, audio and editing.

    So thanks to those who have helped so far.

  • Re: LTBn value per user

    @william Interesting... I never knew I was worth so little.

    You as a participant in an experimental crypto-rewards system is what it is.

    You as a person is worth more.

  • Re: Is it possible for LTBcoin to reach the value of $1 after 5 years ?

    I doubt it. It seems unlikely given the current usecases it supports. That said, if bitcoin runs off to $10,000 or so and people look to LTB for advertisment, well, that would raise the price a bit.

  • Re: Abusive Likes.

    @cryptonaut If an attacker makes an account that has a realistic username, realistic email, completed the registration CAPTCHA and actually went through the email verification process.. there is really no way to tell if its a bot other than catching it in the act of abusing stuff

    This is not true, you're thinking inside your box. Robots and Humans have different behaviours and there are alot of things that robots often do that humans simple never could.

    But yes, its an uphill battle and you can take it one step at a time if you want.

  • Re: Abusive Likes.

    @cryptonaut

    @rob

    @cryptonaut For the email address bit.. its just adding an extra hurdle for bot creators. Its much easier to create a bot that just generates random username/password/email combos and get instant access compared to actually creating a real email address for each one, having it automatically detect the verification email and entering in the secret code etc.. Its not fool proof but its a decent deterrent.

    Then please add at least a ban on all email domains who has an MX that points to http://mailinator.com/

    Also note that you can point your own domains to Mailinator (i.e. specifically, your MX record). Thus you can have your "own private Mailinator" in that respect. The mailinator system accepts any email addressed to [email protected].
