There's been a lot of discussion related to the exchange rate of LTBc. I thought it might be interesting to look at the average value per user on the LTB network.

It's common practice to value social media sites and users by comparing the total market cap of company stock to the number of active users.

Forbes - "You're Worth $128 On Facebook; Sorry About That LinkedIn Drop"

Since the LTB network also has a USD equivalent total market cap, we can compare that to the total online and registered users.

There is a lot more room for the LTB market cap to grow, we are just in the early adoption phase.

@william Interesting... I never knew I was worth so little.

You as a participant in an experimental crypto-rewards system is what it is.

You as a person is worth more.

Exactly, to put it another way it's the marginal value of the network per user and not the value of the user him or herself.

In absolute terms the value doesn't really mean much, but it can be used as a metric to compare the LTB network to other similar networks. In the case of the article above, we can compare the LTBn to social media sites Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin and even that is a loose comparison.

LTBcoin is very early stage. You can calculate per user value after 1 year.

This is actually extremely cool. Especially when you consider that LTBc was only launched a very short while ago. Plus the average value per user is quickly approaching that of LinkedIn according the the article linked about.

@akinale my average network value per user 31$? Or I don't understand....

The average network value is just saying, take the total market value of all the LTBc currently in existence ($64,000ish...comes from $0.0007*91,593,271LTBc out there) divided by the amount of total registered users on the site (2,024 currently), and BAM, you have an estimated dollar amount per user.

It is just a very cool metric that tracks a dollar amount value per individual on the network.

@loon3 does a very good job of outlining this on his site as well. Very cool idea to display this data @loon3! Would be very cool to chart all this as well to determine trends over time!
