Re: [25k LTBc][EDITING REQUEST] Token Controlled Viewpoint - Genesis, Characteristics and Early Use Cases
Thank you! Piece is done and locked down until the feature is out of development and we roll it out. I didn't know what this was at the beginning, but by the end I knew it was a product announcement :)
@mjroncone - Biggest contributor by far, 17kLTBc coming your way for the first editing and co-writing pass - Matt, 3k coming for the additions you made. Denise will be doing a final technical editing for 5k

Re: [25k LTBc][EDITING REQUEST] Token Controlled Viewpoint - Genesis, Characteristics and Early Use Cases
@mjroncone Just a note -- in the end of the article you start developing the idea that content scheduling could be a primary use case.
I don't particularly like this idea. It is limiting in a way that does not contribute to the community. I think what you would find in this case is a lot of people that say "screw it, I don't want to read this that badly anyway" and leave. Either that, or people who sign up for an account to read one article and never come back, especially if it wasn't the greatest article (which happens, no matter how interesting we are). Why would they want to be a part of a community that made them do work in order to read a sub-par article? These are precious wasted minutes.
Section was reworked based on our convo and your suggestions while still keeping the usecase.

Re: Front Page
@btcrevel Hi!
I can't see how I could differentiate podcasts from news articles on the front page. Is this possible? I would really like to be able to see it, without clicking on the link, because when I am on my laptop, I just like to read, and not listen to podcasts/episodes (those I hear on the go on my smartphone)
Yes, we're a bit behind right now but soon you'll be able to essentially curate what content you see in the main feed. We're bringing staff up to speed at the moment.

Re: Earn LTBC by Publishing Your Writings for LTB! All accounts now may compose and submit articles for the front page - Walkthrough inside!
@dpc I have general info article that would have a main page and a dozen or so pages linked to it with sub-articles. The articles would even be updated from time to time (think wiki). Would a format like this work with your current publishing method?
Can articles be updated (easily) after publishing? Is there reason you wouldn't allow articles to link to other articles?
@cryptonaut? I've got no problem with it, can we do this with the system yet?

@adam https://docs.google.com/document/d/17l3ElFp45vYqyLw2OlzAZ3j0baTry4bS5bOqgRmMKLY/edit?usp=sharing
Please suggest edits directly in the doc, if you want to discuss and build on the concept lets have that convo in this thread.
25kLTBc will be split based on what I arbitrarily feel the contributions are. I value divergent opinions but am not looking for a philosophical argument about whether it is right to allow the creation of exclusionary societies. We are build use cases for tokens and I think this is a fantastic one.
I think this is a great idea. Could this TCV allow levels of access? For example, a user needs X amount of an asset in order to access certain information? Similar to a pyramidal hierarchy. For level one you need this asset(s), for level two you need this asset(s) and so on. Multilevel Token Controlled Viewpoints. I feel this type of idea could lead to reality based role playing games.
Yes, please read the doc I hope that is clear that this can be stacking, is it not?

@szanow How about posting articles in polish? I'm from Poland, I'm a blogger and I would like to be a part of LTB network. Is that possible?
Yes, it is possible, but we don't right now have a good platform to provide you for this - We'll be focused on languages besides english once the base platform is functioning smoothly in english. End of the summer-ish if all goes well
@torstenendofmoney Hi Adam, I have written a 1000 word article but can't figure out how to submit it. read all the posts here, too. can't see anything in my dashboard. maybe you can edit your very first post in this thread to walk me and others through the steps (?).
I have to manually turn on blogging accounts, the full-rollout is not yet ready (a variety of things)
That said, you are now activated.
