Re: Whats your price for LTBCOIN?
The trading on the dex has been closer to 3,333 per BTC but the quantity was less than 10 ltbc and I don't really take it seriusly
Yes, but there is a catch 22. I absolutely encourage people to use the DEX but I encourage you to accept XCP rather than BTC because BTC has problems and XCP is really easy. but XCP itself is difficult to acquire.
Once XCP is on more exchanges it will be easier to get into the decentralized exchange, for now you have to get it from poloniex or bter.

Re: Can content be hosted in a decentralized way?
@shawnj I'm thinking of what the pirate bay is doing, creating a new protocol that allows a decentralized p2p network of users to host web content, not just torrents. so content that you would usually see using HTTP and DNS, you can now run using a more decentralized fashion.I'm also thinking of what etherium is doing with hard drive hosting; providing a decentralized cloud storage alternative where users can dedicate a portion of their hard drive to hosting content in a decentralized network, and then they are compensated by earning ether coins (or whatever they are). Can the LTB network do something like that? use the users' hard drives to host content, then reward them with a slice of the hourly/daily ltbcoin payout? So it would work the same as everything else- if there are only a few people offering up their hard drive space, they get paid more.
I've already spoken with David Irvine at Maidsafe and Shawn over at storj, we're definitely pursuing this path once its feasible and I actually have a crazy idea for a content distribution last-mile incentivization layer :)
But as another poster said, the priority here is to actually do this thing rather than do the perfect most awesome thing. We are doing the thing, and will do more things later.

So what/where is 16mtsJE29zY5Rw2c4XunVFeg7DmbGedS9M? Is that like LTBCoin Treasury / slush fund?
It's a fresh counterwallet I created because I'm the showrunner for LTB. When others start up their auctions they'll be giving their own payment addresses (or just having it paid to their username through our internal system)
Why would we burn LTBCOIN? You're paying for something valuable, and I suspect the creators would like to keep what they've been compensated.

Re: first LTBCOIN asset drop incoming, make sure you're signed up!
@jshow5555 Good idea Adam. Best of luck with it. I am new here and trying to find my way. As most places in this space it is a bit confusing at the beginning. It seems I have missed the initial distribution of LTBCoin and I am trying to figure out how the ongoing contributions are measured. Questions up to now: -Is there a central place where the whole system is explained? -Is there any contribution tracker? -What part(s) of the site count as content visited? Thanks. I hope you and the community will bear with me as I might have more questions in the coming days.
We are tracking: Comments, first page visits (i.e. you read a new story), forum posts, forum threads, and soon we'll be tracking tips.
