Re: Airtime on Let's Talk Bitcoin! [ AUCTION 5 CLOSES NOON Pacific time SUNDAY 7/13/14]CURRENT HIGH BIDS: 23k & 12k LTBc - LAST EPISODE WINNING BIDS: 32,542LTBc and 28,442LTBc for Brawker.com and CoinMarketCap.com
@john If I were to win, how soon would I have to redeem my sponsor token for an ad slot? And are sponsor token transferrable on the open market if someone doesn't want to bid?
Right now we're getting auction mechanics down so no token but yes transferrable, right now these are for specific slots.

Re: [LTB][HIRING 10% Commission] LTB Auction Manager 10,000LTBC performance bonus
@adam What questions do you have?
Mostly just how would you like me to alert potential bidders?
Whatever is most effective at maximizing the value and thus your pay.

[RECURRING WRITING ASSIGNMENT] Best-Of Forums Summary for the front page of LetsTalkBitcoin.com
This will be classified as a "column" so it will be worth 1 Proof of Publishing point. I want to publish a nicely written post that is a sort of letter (it does not have to be in that style) updating people who do not read the forums about what is going on here.
I cannot predict the value of this exactly, but based on this weeks content allocation it would have been worth over 100,000LTBc for the writer of each.
It should be at least 800 words and no more than 4,000 words. Prospective writers can claim an update (#1 or #2 of each week) and ask me to activate their write interface. The piece has to be interesting, it does not have to be comprehensive. If you think there is something important to highlight with most of an update that's fine, but please do not focus exclusively on one target - each update should cover at least a few developments.
In addition, you'll also earn Proof of Value 4 weeks after posting just like any other piece of content.
I'd like to start this ASAP, who'd like to be first up to bat? Please note that you can form teams that agree to share the LTBc you recieve in any way you please. I usually pay my editor 15%, you'll have to work out shares with co-authors. I will give the funds to one of you, and you will split it amongst yourselves until we can automate this process a bit more.

Re: Question: I recieved 2 Amounts of LTBcoin today, Is that Normal?
@robmitchell
@nikkicool That would be cool! Is there a scoring grid posted somewhere to see how to qualify for what? And/or what types of distributions will come in the future (ex - listening)
I think it's good being a little mysterious, as far as how much credit there is for different actions. Keeps people doing everything, not trying to focus on activities that are weighted more heavily (assuming everything isn't equal).
I'm with you on that one... but again, transparency has always been a focus of LTBcoin... how can we balance this?
We were planning on letting people either show their username or their address on the list, but not both. So you would have the option to "claim" your address if you want it known or to just leave it as an anonymous address. You will have the ability to have your LTBc address not be public.

[Deadline 7/16/2014][EDITING BOUNTY][50k LTBc] Help me improve my latest whitepaper for publication - Distributed Autonomous Consensus Platforms as Self Solving Problems
I'm devoting 50,000 LTBc to people who help me re-write and clarify this piece so that it is optimally approachable for publication. I think its an important idea and I want to put best foot forward with it.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E9gauHOovwF9MnVIAZcHVRtvXhIQ7S4O_rp67DWjeA8/edit?usp=sharing
You can read the piece here, suggest edits through the "suggest" interface and make sure you're logged in to google so I can see who did which work. We'll split the bounty at the end based on suggested edits adopted and also fairly subjectively by me based on how much "work" I perceive each to have done.

Re: Get stoned, pay in LTBcoin!
@bitnomadic You're very welcome. I will most likely hold the LTBcoin and use it for sponsorships in the future.
That's fine, just keep in mind the token is very inflationary :) Almost 10% per week for the next two weeks.
It is eventually going to be deflationary but we have less than 10% of the money supply so just be aware inflationary dynamics might not work in your favor. In the long term if we succeed you'll be fine, but the medium term I have expectations the price will go lower.
I don't mean to be a downer I just want you to be aware of the fundamentals, you can find the weekly distribution schedule here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GzytNblMx8xBmUczX7sPC8QitkJrrRirNrh2AJtjy1Q/edit?usp=sharing
If you'd like to adjust the price, let me know and we'll run the math again on our end.

Re: Get stoned, pay in LTBcoin!
Awesome! Thank you.
I figure you can safely get 2 sponsorships with that if you choose, may I ask what you intend to do with them?
