  why local buy/sell bitcoins? I dont understand, there is no reason to send bitcoins local unless you pay in cash in person

  what do you mean? localbitcoins.com is a website that lets you buy and sell bitcoin to people individually. You can meet someone in person and buy/sell, or (depending on your country) do it through your online banking or cash deposits.

  i suggest you for using this exchange,poloniex.com is low fee,and fast trade..

  • it seem that btc-e is mostest popular bitcoin and altcoin exchange but i don't like and never use btc-e for its ridiculous fee
  • bitstamp is the best bitcoin exchange
  • cryptsy is the most used altcoin exchange
  • lakebtc, bitfinex, localbitcoins, kraken, they are strong competitors with respective strengths
