Wont the giving away of coins cause a downwards pattern in coin value?

I have been wondering that if you are giving away coins for free like this, then won't all the selling cause a downwards slope in the coins value from all the dumping?

(Also my counterwallet message wont get signed.)

That's only if people are actually selling. I think that there are actually a significant amount of people holding onto the coins because there hasn't been much volume on either exchange currently available.

But, what you have is a coin representing a network that is growing rapidly. So perhaps the value of the network is increasing faster than price can be pushed downwards. Also, it is infaltionary for a defined amount of time at which point it becomes deflationary which inherently encourages hoarding, so there may be a lot of us in this game for the long haul.

You're not buying them, so the price doesn't really matter. If you want to use them, it's about how many you have compared to other people who want the same thing (since we use auctions)

In time the price will stabilize, but for the first few months there is quite a bit of inflation so we don't pay attention to the price at all, just to how much and how many people want it.

Others have asked the same. Others have kept an eye on the rate of "dumping" and as of now, there is not any to speak of. Most of those collecting, using and such understand the potential of LTBc. This is the 1st btc network of its kind and the great minds of the digital currency space are here and using this powerful tool to get the word out. IMO there is little reason to "dump" your investment of something that you believe will be greater in the long run and the 1st and finest btc network there is. If you see otherwise, gl

Others can correct me if I am wrong, but as a holder of LTBc, I feel as though I am actually de-incentivized to sell right now. To see more value out of this token, I am more than incentivized to hold and do as much as I can to help create value to the network to see the value of this token go up. Which I am happy to do anyways, but it is always nice to see value occur out of thin air for things I am already happy to do.

Selling now would only be a representation of its current early stage value, which in theory can only go up due to positive actions I (and many others) take to propagate the LTB network.

Your incentive is to sell if your intention is to maximize your Bitcoin earnings ASAP. Only people who have the luxury of time can afford to invest it without needing immediate returns.

It is hard to think of a better way to disperse the coins. This way means that everyone who is interested has the ability to acquire LTBc right from the start. I see it as pouring concrete into the foundations of a building - it will spread relatively freely at first then it'll harden into a really decent base upon which the building will stand.
