Why someone deleted my topic about "How to find the magic word" ?

  @page There seems to be some problems for a lot of the none English speakers when it comes to magic words, which isn't really surprising. Not only how to get them, but also the value of having them.

  Magic word gives you 5 points while posts and comments give you 4 points. Do not get too hung up on that, just listen to podcasts and try to contribute positively.

  Although I partially agree with you, but the magic word is only a "word".

  Most Non-English speakers like me (English is not my mother tongue) can get the magic word easily, maybe because I was studying English for more than 14 years and practicing it regularly.

  You just need to give some effort, and if the person showed that he made effort, the community will stand with him, and I will be the first one to give the hand of help.

  I agree with you, but the most members here are trying to get out the maximum potential of the points to make as much money as they can.

  The whole point is Proof of Participation, not, "I know a guy".

  Keep in mind that the reason for the magic words is not just to reward listeners and content creators, but also to get a more accurate idea of how many people are fully listening to (as opposed to just downloading) the different podcasts even outside of LTB, on Soundcloud and so on. Any cheating also messes with those statistics.

  It's not a perfect system, but it's the most practical method we have come up with so far. Ideas for improvement are welcome, as always.

  I dont see any posts in this thread that are "off topic" and certainly none that are spam.

  I was also one of the people who was vocal against the guy who was giving out magic words. Hopefully this will be the last of that type of nonsense.

  I don't see any terms and conditions during sign-up, so why is it cheating to spoil the magic word. (you will get less points blabblalalbla, people have to listen themselves, but the real reason?)
