I have stopped for few days, and now started again, my computer crashed.
@d415a whenever you come back, you know where you can trade them now :)
http://foldingcoin.net/index.php/project/crowdsale/
FoldingCoin is currently running a crowdsale that will consist of one million FLDC sold for 20 BTC. This values 0.00002 FLDC per BTC or 50,000 FLDC per BTC.
You must use a Counterparty address when sending funds to the crowdsale in order to receive your FLDC.To buy FLDC from the crowdsale, send the desired amount of BTC to this address:1FrY7Y92CHraeVL8QHiYCZm63EQd4j2G8h
We will use the funds to help pay for transaction fees associated with sending FLDC, and to implement a new FoldingCoin Off-Chain Distribution System.
The only expiration for this crowdsale is when all one million FLDC have been purchased. There is no deadline.
Any BTC sent before the 20 BTC goal is reached will have FLDC sent back to the sending address.
Any BTC sent after the goal of 20 BTC has been reached will be refunded to the address where the BTC came from.
To track the BTC sent to this wallet, check https://blockchain.info/address/1FrY7Y92CHraeVL8QHiYCZm63EQd4j2G8h and to track the remaining FLDC in the crowdsale, check http://blockscan.com/address.aspx?q=1FrY7Y92CHraeVL8QHiYCZm63EQd4j2G8h
I am happy to see fldc been traded, congrats
Check out our new private forums for FLDC holders only http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/board/foldingcoin-general
We have completed a major upgrade to the FoldingCoin website http://www.foldingcoin.net.
The development team has been busy in the last few weeks adding a whole bunch of new content. Things were getting pretty crowded and the team felt it was time for a re-organization and visual refresh. That work was made live tonight.
Check it out and let us know what you think. We're open to comments and feedback.
If you find anything missing that was on the old site, please let us know and we will get it added back in.
One of the nice things about doing a site-wide overhaul is that you get to review all content. Do you realize on our first daily payout August 11th there were only 9 folders paid? Here we are September 27th, a mere 7 weeks later, and we have over 80 active folders and our daily folding credits have increased about 9x. That's great for Stanford's science.
Thank you folders, you are truly Mining for Medicine!
We are looking for skilled people to help advance FoldingCoin. We would pay you in FLDC. FLDC payments will be negotiated in the initial skype interview that Robert and James will conduct with you based on your skill and interest. We need to fill the following roles:
One or more folders who have been folding for at least 1-3 years and know FAH well enough to be able to help with new folder questions and help resolve issues relating to the FAH client and configuration.
One or more folders that are knowledgeable about FAH and FLDC to maintain and respond to forums. Any questions that cannot be answered should be referred to the main development team. Great forum ratings on your username are a plus.
Somebody with experience in web design and SEO. This would free the main developers to concentrate on other things.
We are reaching out to Meetup groups around the world advocating the use of FLDC as the Meetup currency. We need designated Meetup specialists who are familiar with how Meetups work to follow up on responses. Also schedule Skype meetings with you, the devs, and the Meetups. You should CC the dev team with all your Meetup conversations.
What is the plan for when the coins are all distributed? How will FLDC incentivize folding at that point in time? Thanks
Edit: I found the vote that just concluded regarding the distribution schedule. Looks like a good change.
