Yeah, but a big disadvantage to counterparty is the time it takes to actually complete a transaction. And, about half of the transactions don't go through, in my experience. So the DEX is a really cool idea that doesn't work particularly well yet.
Completely agree, I've tried a few trades, none have gone through yet. Why? New technology, small market, high expectations. Solution, fix the bugs, expand the market, increase the users. Compare this to Masterchest and it's way ahead.
I think we're both complaining about the same thing, make something that works, and give it to us! But distributed exchanges are new and barely working, it will take time. Getting the core code and functionality up to scale is the main task, right? Do you see third-party exchanges helping or hurting this effort?
I completely agree most of the orders did'nt go through and every transaction you end up paying 0.0002 for TX fee and 0.00015 for escrow. Neither it is efficient nor user friendly.
May be Mintpal, Bittrex or any other efficient DEX.
