This is a good start.  It might be worth setting up a spreadsheet or graphical chart that shows the expected distribution percentages for each group, over which period of time, and a breakdown on a "proof of work" or "value per action" basis (eg. how much does a video production earn vs a comment, vs a tip, or some other action that supports the network).
I know Adam has rough ideas for distribution which he explained in another post and I was totally in favor of his concept. I think there are just a few details to be filled in on the valuations of some of the smaller actions, especially for "audience mining" like comments etc. which haven't been quantified yet as far as I know.

LTBcoin Thought Experiment: Operation/Distribution Model [Edited - 3/18/14]
We could allow parties to burn coins and transfer the wealth to LTBcoin the same way Counterparty did, but with any coin except Bitcoin. Each week new coins are created and the donations from wasted coins received determine incoming value new LTB coins. If we adopted this model we could establish a conduit for connecting all the nodes which govern LTBcoin.  On top of this I propose the following solution to the problem of 'multitasking' the network based on LTBcoins available resources and the basic concepts of John Conway's Game of Life.

    Hypothesis

John Conway's game of life is excellent model for establishing socio-economic equilibrium.
    Experimental Bylaw
This is simply a thought experiment so bare with me.
Proposed LTBcoin Network Development Process:Agree on structure of each node and central command, each node is a network of 5 sub-nodes.
Decide on node operation.Determine centralized command node.Route 4 way 'backbone firpit" distribution through centralized node, all tips distributed evenly.Brainstorm proofing protocols for verifying node distribution protocols.Vote on ideas and develop solutions.Deploy solution on test-net and incentivize 'proof-of-hacking' on testnet. Ship features to Beta app once the network verifies new protocol.Design structure of network is built on 5 core areas of operation (nodes).Nodes of NetworkCommand Node 1 (Hq) - Oversees network entirety, development, makes final decision.
User Node 2 (Cc) -  Labor, Collaboration, Services
Distribution Node 3 (Gw) - Goodwill (Continuous Burn: Fire-pit of 'Wasted Altcoins').
User Node 4 (We) - Wealth (Manages financials).
User Node 5 (Au) - Audience, Participation and the use of Content.
    Color denotes node difference.

Glider Distribution Pattern:John Conway's game of life operates on 4 laws which yields 2d method of social collaboration if a 5 node system (glider) is tuned properly. We should develop a basic distribution pattern that is cyclical and strategic for continuous growth.

John Conways Game of Life - Automaton Operational Laws:Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if caused by under-population.Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.
The pattern could be used as follows:
Distribution of assets to 4 parties cyclical with one distribution node continuously supplying to supporting nodes. Distribution node is autonomous, never paid and serves as the gateway for LTBcoins entering the market. It allows people to "mine" LTBcoin by reducing coinwaste in the industry and 'monetizing wasted' assets.  The community decides which assets should be burned through the Gw node.
Gw node is never paid and funds are distributed to each node at 25% during the charging cycle.
Central command node is always stays in the trailing position in the pattern and receives the least resources but is the smallest. Other nodes rotate in positions based on the pattern of the glider.  Rotations consist of change in funding/resources allocated to each node.  Resources consist of disbursement to users, proof of work models, anything a node needs to gain LTBcoin.  Once the pattern has been fulfilled the node changes position.
The pattern has a 4 cycle period oscillation and repeats on the 5th cycle.

2d - visual and mathematical connections of nodes to one another.

    3d - Visualization of Glider
The network operates on time. Time can be sped up or slowed down with the machine.  Which in our case is not possible. However, this provides a good strategy for goals and shifting resources in order to manage success of the entire network.  These laws are mathematically distributed by the pattern shown above.

    Conclusions:
    Proposed LTB Resource Distribution Laws:
Parallels needed based on mathematics of matrices' operation.

Black nodes are producers (collaborators) and white nodes are consumers (users).Any live node with fewer than two live neighbors connected shifts to higher rank, as if caused by non-attention.Any live node with two to three connected live nodes stays in a neutral position.Any live node connected with more than three live nodes drops rank, as if by overfeeding.Any dead node connected by exactly three live nodes becomes a live node, as if by growth. These become the basic laws for determining the socio-economic generation growth of overall LTBcoin network, which allow other nodes combinations to propagate. The system needs to meet certain growth margins needed to shift.3d structure shows how the structure continuously lifts its counter parties.EPIC JOHN CONWAY"S GAME OF LIFE <-awesome video shows what 4 simple rules can create. The vague design allows you to offer plausible tokenization model and the hope is for the overall network to grow and produce more Gw:Hq nodes. c1 (Gw:Hq1) - LTB c2 (Gw:Hq2)- ? <- Operation is consistent, command nodes serve as differentiator. The glider is the also the "Hacker Emblem" which is pretty cool when you think about it.This vague design could work on other tokenization efforts.Propose LTB testnet coin asset name change to "Glidercoin" aka HackercoinPlatform produces glider token automatons on distributed consensus platform system.Gw node does not have to be donation node for alt coins, just an added idea.Node that performs the best becomes the most profitable node in the next generation, excludes Gw and Hq nodes.

This will never happen at an institutional level, individual actors may choose it is in their best interest to try to prop up a price, But I have no intention of doing that myself.

Adam said: I fully support a fleshing out of my somewhat handwavy ideas.

I figured you wouldn't mind. I just wanted to start drilling down on your open governance idea, which I'm fully supporting. I think we should decide things in the following order.
Core Areas of Operation (5 nodes)
    Distribution model (Cyclical)
Method of Operation (Stategic)Road MapThe model presented above is consolidation of items 1-3 and is based on on the idea of "cellular automata" which gives us a model to work off of.  Not too mention Conways game of life is "Turing Complete".

We asked for wild ideas and here is one, I am up for discussion on any of this.

I guess in a nutshell I'll let someone else speak for me, someone else also obsessed with Conways Game of Life.

Apple is another company fascinated by the idea of Conways Game of Life, except they suck at social networks:
    Game of Life. http://techcrunch.com/2012/06/23/laocoon/
Nobody knows why they stopped the glider?
The function generates a boat, in case you were wondering. This is essentially like a launchpad with the addition of adding a single node the mode continues to evolve.  I think they're trying to explain the theory of their operation, but that's just might guess.  I also think it's interesting this was released after Jobs died.
Or maybe that the MacBook serves as a boat for new ideas?

Based on my discussion with Matt this week, let's try and flatten out the resource-distribution idea and first think of how a manual system would work, before trying to automate it as much as possible.
The sketch below shows the resources (credits can be LTBcoin or Proof Tokens), goals and ultimately the agents (collaborators, listeners, and so on) who will be rewarded for achieving those goals. The black arrows are 'pipes' that channel the resources and that are made to swell or shrink by the feedback, to allocate more or less credits to different goals as needed.
Resources represents the resource allocation for a specific time interval (week, day, hour) after which the feedback is used to (manually or automatically) adjust both the resource allocation for each goal (thick black arrows) for the next time period. The reward for each instance of a completed goal (thin black arrows) can be adjusted in a similar fashion and/or on the fly.

The sketch shows some lower-level goals aimed at listeners and readers. The same idea can be applied to collaborators.
The entire LTB resource pool for a time period is first allocated to top level goals (such as Podcast Shows, Blogs, Marketing, and so on) to form smaller resource pools for the lower levels, which then feed the actual goals.
Resources are allocated to achieve an optimal proportion of goals at each level, with time periods for feedback tending to be larger for higher levels.

    The Feedback Challenge
Coming up with higher and lower level goals and an initial resource distribution is probably the easy part, compared to using the right feedback appropriately to optimize the use of available resources.
Initially, feedback and resource optimization could be manual or semi-automatic and based on intuition, and on maintaining a desired equilibrium of goals at each level. For example total resource allocations for each goal could be manual, but if a goal is not being achieved often enough, the individual payout can be automatically increased based on some metric, such as time since the goal was last achieved or a moving average of time intervals.
Eventually, as the LTB Network shifts to a Proof of Value reward system, the use of resources could be optimized and automated further to take into account the actual value each goal brings to the Network, insofar as we can determine that.
    Thoughts?
