Pretty cool anyone can add information as a collective force. How do you prevent trolls though?

The wiki is self-enforcing by the community. If a troll does his troll thing, the next user comes along and uses the undo function to roll back the change.
There are more drastic measures we can take if needed, but hopefully it won't come to that.0 likes -

I personally think we should consider the wiki as an extension of the LTBcoin website and have some kind of control over who is trusted to update it. The reason is that there is a lot of potential for abuse not just by trolls, competitors or whatever, but by scammers who might post misleading info to cheat people out of their LTBcoin or what not.
I wonder what Adam and the rest think.0 likes -

Well recalling back i remember a discussion on how a wiki might not be best suited, especially in these early Dev stages?
Adam spoke on one of the first Q&A's how right now a blog type system is best, as opposed to the wiki.0 likes -

A wiki is a common method for a self-organizing community to communicate with itself and others. It works well when people contribute to it and use it.
See https://en.bitcoin.it/
A wiki serves a different purpose from a blog. Blog posts are not usually updated ongoing over time as things change.
Right now, I think the community could use a wiki. There is a lot of good information on these forums, but it is not organized such that a newcomer could quickly learn about the key concepts behind LTBcoin.
Ultimately, a wiki is only as useful if the community updates it. We will need some people willing to a little time into the wiki if we want it to be useful.0 likes -

I wonder what Adam and the rest think.I think our first priority is to get the information up and in a format that is easy to discover and view. My opinion is that adding access controls to the wiki is overkill at this stage.
If the wiki is being abused, we will respond accordingly and fix it.0 likes -

I wonder what Adam and the rest think.Wikis need to have some degree of openness or they cease to be wikis. However the troll/scammers will eventually find it, so basic measures like active editorship, registrations and perhaps a minor crypto fee goes very far in keeping it a tidy garden of information.

You put some code at the end of the link that made the link invalid, but when I get rid of that in my url bar, it says it is not a site did the wiki get moved?
