the best topic would be to actual understand what the "newbies" knows about bitcoin and which use they would have in every-day routine, how they would use it and which improvement they can see. An "outsider" eye is more critical than all of us which are already into this very deeply.. i asked the same to couple of colleagues and i was pretty shocked about how many different answers i got from IT guys, nerds and just computer users :)

I would be interested to hear more on NXT. Things such has client options and what features it has running compared to Counterparty and other 2.0s.
Also Brian Sovryn on LTB; talk about whatever lol.

I would like to see discussions occasionally delve into the commercial aspect of Crytpocurrency - maybe look at the marketing aspect or the process of how a small business can integrate Bitcoin into their world.

Julian Assange and the role BTC has played in his fight.
-
Dimitry Orlov and his view of crypto and it's role in a national collapse scenario. For example, would it have made a difference in the Soviet Union, and, if a semblance of the grid remains in a post-economic collapse USA, what role could it play?
- Is BTC the global equivalent of local currency movement (e.g. Ithaca hours)? They are spatially different, but don't they compliment each other in many ways such that they could form an alternative system?
Edit: corrected name of Ithaca currency

I think getting a soundbit from Apple is very unlikely. They won't speak unless it is through a widely distributed release or to a top top top journalist - just how things go.
I like the anti-BTC / pro-BTC debate idea.
@innocenti i'd love to hear a word of two from the other side.
maybe interview with anti-bitcoin groups (if there's any), or with some folks from Apple (since they pretty much turn their back to bitcoin lately). Or the feds maybe, their internet security experts or something.
Just want to hear something different than all greatness and mightiness of bitcoins. :D
-just my 2 cents

Omri Marian: he is a law professor in Florida who focuses on international taxation and has been writing and speaking on cryptocurrencies. I've heard him speak, and he is engaging and thoughtful.

@adam, could you get an interview with Tim Wu?
He would have a unique perspective on where bitcoin would fit in the recent history of technologies, and what kind of pitfalls it would face. Even if he doesn't have a strong position on bitcoin it would be interesting to hear his thoughts.
You could probably convince him that your audience would be particularly receptive to his book. You've already sold a few of copies of "The Master Switch" for him. I certainly enjoyed it.
