Please everyone - stop Quoting the post with the all the names - for that matter, you won't need to quote nor reply to this either ; )

In the meantime, I suggest as a 'for fun' contest, we all try spinning the 1000 common words bitcoin protocol essay a bit to clean it up for publishing standards - I think it would be possible to have this piece of work republished everywhere (think childrens blogs, news websites, yahoo, personal blogs, technology news sites, and beyond) more easily if it were promoted, first virally, then potentially as news to the traditional channels.

@rotalumis I already use Trello over at Bitcoin Magazine. What do I need to do to flag an article to be proofread on Trello? i.e. what is the workflow process for writers ---is Trello for proofreaders only or are writers adding articles here?.

I have a newsbreaking article that will be set for publication by Monday evening. But it needs to be proofread.

BTW it would be cool if you could send me your email addy.

Once you have added your post in the blog post section of the dashboard and it's ready to be edited, you change the status from "draft" to "ready for publishing" and I get notified. The Trello is just a temporary thing for me to manage the editors until we have the proper system all built out.

The editing queue is empty at the moment, so there should be no problem getting your article out on time.

You'll find full instructions on submitting your post here. I've sent you an email with my address.

@rotalumis o.k. I went outside this system for my next proofread---It is currently being proofread by @denise so it won't have to be proofread a second time--- so it would be great if I could be fast tracked for publication once I submit this one. --It is being proofread while I await response for comment from two subjects of the article. I should be submitting it tomorrow evening.

So I understand the workflow better -- In the future I assume I will be able to give a second read after its proofread ---and that i will be notified in some form or another when it is proofread prior to my saying/indicating its o.k. to post?

@rotalumis I should add that right now Authors cannot easily edit their articles once they have been posted (it is possible via Webmaster)... so giving an article a second look after its been proofread is helpful.

The workflow will be quite different in the future in that writers will be choosing their own editors and proof readers, working much closer with them and also paying them whatever is agreed out of the article's LTBC earnings. You can see what's being planned here and send in your comments.

I agree it makes sense for writers to give articles another look after the editing is done, even though it hasn't been the norm at LTB so far. I'm just not sure it's best to add this extra step across the board right now as most writers are fine with their edits and the current "manual" editing system is already quite involving to run, but we can do that on a case-by-case basis until we have the new system in place. In any case, I can fix stuff for you after the fact if necessary.

@adam please flag @rotalumis if you'd like to be added to the system, it might take a few days to get back to you.

Yes, I'm working my way down the list of people who applied and adding people in. We're still figuring out the system, though, even as we get people started editing, so adding everyone at once will just be chaos.

We're getting organised on Trello.com and you will need an account there to participate. If you could create that before hand and post your Trello username when you apply, it will speed things up when I get to you. "

My trello username is crystalck04 :)

My Trello UserName is: much_hustle (full name: dAp david). Good idea, using Trello. I had thought about trying to step up and help Adam manage editors Via a Project Management system like Trello, but I snapped out of it and quit frontin to myself because the reality is Organization and time management are the weakest areas of my circumference (I was 20 hours late for birth, poor mom in labor for 36 hrs) ..... ;)

@rotalumis I'm registered as "eddbitbrew" over at trello. Now that I'm back from the Chicago conference and settled in, I'm ready to get to work!
