I have accumulated a 'high' amount of LTBcoins because I support this forum and its users. And I believe the downtrend has bottomed out.

But there is not way of spending these coins, besides curshing the auctions. Or trading them for other coins. Yes, I have looked at the bazaar on this forum but there really isn't anything I like.

Any ideas?

Untill I know what to do with them, I'll just hold.

I would say hold on to them for now. Definitely one of the biggest things missing right now is actual uses for the coin besides just getting ads/sponsor slots etc. on the auctions and trading for other coins. hang tight!

You can always sell them for BTC on www.melotic.com but I wouldnt suggest it whilst the coin is still maintaining momentum.. would be like selling all your BTC when it was $10 :)

Perhaps you could approach some bitcoin related companies and use your ltbcoin to get them advertising on the podcasts.. They win through brilliant exposure.. you can coordinate it and they can pay you in BTC or cash or whatever. It would also bring new sponsors to the site.. You could set yourself up as a regular marketing manager using LTBcoin :)

Ok, but how would I be spending LTBc then? They pay me in btc for example, and I sell them some ltbc to win auctions.

I think I'll just hold most of it, and bid on some auctions for fun. When I win any sponsor coins I will resell them for a certain price in btc. That basically comes down to selling your ltbc for the desired btc price. I will sell for a premium ofcourse.

I could then search for sponsors on bitcointalk or this forum, or elsewhere.

you can now bid on sponsor "slots" which you can sell to others directly for whatever you want.. Just be careful you don't end up with slots and no buyers

I wonder with the new design of the forum would we be able to perhaps implement an LTB marketplace. I know it's a small market within our own community but it's a start. Could sell some of those snazzy Bitcoin keychains and maybe some LTB swag. I know I wouldn't mind an LTB coffee mug.

Thats a very good idea.. that said, perhaps counterparty will implement an in-wallet marketplace like NXT have done.. we could use LTBCoin to trade in there.. could be used for assets/shares as well as sales and would save development.. The main risk is control should one party default (not provide goods).. we would need and escrow service built in..
