  Aah, forgot to mention - it was a little awkward to make the stars align, in terms of getting exactly 0.00886950 BTC together to buy the Crystals, but after some quick checking of Cryptonator to get an idea of GBP/DOGE prices, I was able to use WeSellDoges to buy 14949.16666667 DOGE (for US$3.06 - which was seemingly rounded down, but ShapeShift didn't care).

  Since I received the confirmation mail, I guess that it's now time to play the waiting game... :)

  @pairmike I purchased some SOG (bitcrystals) yesterday, but I haven't received a confirmation email and they don't appear in my pockets wallet.

  Has anyone else experienced the same?

  You should have received a confirmation email, but the BitCrystals themselves are not actually being distributed until after the crowdsale is over IIRC

  Does anyone know why math dont work here?

  Did they sell some BitCrystals cheaper or what? As i read on their web, they should increase price on 5th day. not after few hours. Does anyone have link where is detailed explained how will this crowd sale go?

  As it currently shows is or 2/3 BTC is missing or BitCrystals were sold at 1/3 of current price.

  Check if your TX is on the blockchain as unconfirmed. There have been many transactions with very long confirmation times since yesterday. Also, the Bitcrystals will not be sent to your wallet until after the end of the crowdsale.

  The explanation I was given is that the total of BCY sold mentioned on the bitcrystal webpage includes BCY that were distributed prior to the crowdsale also (apparently there was a presale, and some of us got some BCY through different promotions)

  I understand there was promotions.But for promotions there are reserved 15m BitCrystals. I also got 70 for registring in game from that found. But here is stated that 17m out of 70m (that was reserved for crowdsale) was sold.

  If it is as i predict and that page shows all BitCrystals that are currently owned, then they should state that there is sold xxx BitCrystals out of 85 milions Bitcrystals and not only 70 milions.

  Febo, Thanks for your interest in SOG and for your hardship.

  The additional 10 Million that appears sold are not actually sold we just put a buffer of 10 million just in case everything is sold too quickly. If someone buy all the stock at once for example we wanted a buffer. So there is not 10 Mio sold it's just we cap it to 60 Mio in case. We are going to update the bar coming days.

  I'm pretty sure they said that they would be selling some bitcrystals to investors early besides the actual crowd sale. If I can find the link for that I'll post it. But I'm fairly certain I read that.
