Signing and verifying signed messages in Counterwallet

I posted this in the Counterwallet support thread on the Counterparty forum but figured I'd ask the same question here...

I'm trying to verify a signed message from an address in Counterwallet using brainwallet.org and it does not recognize the signature.

Is there a better way for me easily verify a signed message? Anyone know if there plans to include signed message verification in the Counterwallet client?

  Apparently, there was a compatibility issue between the Bitcore library and the Bitcoin-QT signed message format.

  It looks like they have solved the issue at Bitcore so may just need to wait for it to implemented in Counterwallet, https://github.com/bitpay/bitcore/pull/459/

  yeah your right, I ran into the same issue. the "verifymessage" bitcoind command came out true when signed by other wallets such as -QT, electrum etc.. but counterwallet always comes out with invalid signatures. I informed the XCP devs about it, I guess we just need to wait until they apply the updates

  import your private key forum counterwaller in a blockchain.info account and go to " Receive Money"

  click on the right or you LTB address and click again " sign message"

  Copy and paste you verification code a and et voila ...

  Have you gotten your message signed .

  Go to : http://letstalkbitcoin.com/dashboard/address-manager/verify/YOUR_ADDRESS_HERE copy and paste you signed message and click verify .

  If I have been helpful, you might even get me a small donation of btc

  There is an issue with counterwallet, they produce invalid signatures.

  That was my issue when I wanted to verify my LTBcoin address.
