I can't tell you how many threads I've seen announcing how Ethereum has started the Ether sale. Would anyone else be in favor of 'stickying' threads of interest for a particular announcement or other event of interest? Having multiple threads fragments the discussion where most people probably wouldnt even open a post that is a repost of something they have already read. Unifying the content will provide the community with a better user experience instead of a barrage of reposts when a large news event is happening.

Only issue I see with that is then you will most likely need dedicated people to do it. If someone is willing then all the better but we would need someone who is up on all the current news before most other people.

They'll probably implement more account settings sometime soon. I would assume they are working on the larger items first before this.

Redundancy is a nuisance in this interest totally agree. It would be cool if there was a way to merge threads into a single thread to make it easier for the mods on this site.
