  Very much against it.

  Abuse of power happens to humans for ages. Greek classics put it in stories for us, many thousand years ago. For a first time in history we have an open blockchain, so maybe we will get a chance to rewrite old Greeks.

  Regulation absolutely does not work.....with evidence all around. Systems need to be designed with appropriate incentives to ensure that self interest will generally produce the desired, system friendly behaviour.

  absolutely against. As has been said already, power in the hands of humans turns even the most trustworthy men into corrupted politicians.

  Are there any solid arguments for regulation? I can't think of any unless it involved public safety. Other than that I'm stumped.
