Not sure if anyone else here has seen this, but it looks like Reddit is taking crypto seriously and may be making it an integral part of their site. They're looking to hire a cryptocurrency engineer!

@kerneloops Right as I was about to say this is right up at @adam 's alley, I read his response/inquiry. I'm quite convinced Reddit is seeking an alt-coin mimicking what Adam and the LTB dev team have planned all along with LTBc. To which I say kudos!

that would be awesome. maybe they will even do it on counterparty like us :p

Im hoping for ability to pay for reddit ads with bitcoin (instead of just reddit gold), also built in site-wide tipping would be really cool

Counterparty would seem like the obvious choice. If the plan is to launch a "redditcoin" what better way than slapping it on an already-proven platform like Counterparty? And even better, why don't we just go to Reddit and show them, look, what you are trying to accomplish is already available on LTBc, so why reinvent the wheel? Reddit adopts LTBc, price of LTBc explodes, I get my 911. Case closed.

anyone in contact with the reddit admins? :D
