Quark adopting LTBcoin model of proof of participation for their forums.

Saw this "This forum tries to build on that ideology by distributing Quarks in the hands of those that are active in the community. By posting quality articles and contributing to general discussions you will earn Quarks."

The LTB concept works well and they are just trying to copy it... but the original PoP is here :)

I think that PoP is going to be the new wave of media in general in the crypto world and in regular media as everyone is fighting for eyeballs.

I have seen it before on forums where people get points for every post they make that can be redeemed for gift cards and the like but LTBn takes it a step further but having more then just a forum that they can earn on and makes it easier to trade among members.

Why not really, it's a great incentive. I wish a few more coins I supported did the same.

They are actually doing this over on the Storj forums as well: https://storjtalk.org/index.php/topic,1260.0.html

You get one SJCX per post.

This really is the best model I've seen yet.

Agreed. I don't think there is a way to fully get rid of the quantity/quality issue when you "pay" people to participate but you can do a lot to help reduce it to manageable levels.

Agreed, it's been interesting to watch the influx of new users on LTB.
