PRISMicide

I did not find a forum for introducing myself... whatever... this forum will do the trick.

My name is Frédéric MARTIN, I am the co-founder of non profit organization called PRISMicide, regrouping a small team of security experts and developping a secure Bitcoin Hardware Wallet based on open source smart cards and a portable open hardware reader. (The platform can be used as an anti-PRISM privacy tool too... hence the name)

We just launched our indiegogo crowdfunding campaign : http://igg.me/at/prismicide

Very cool, this looks like a good option for keeping keys secure. It seems best option would be to get 2 prismcards and use one as a backup in case the other fails? I hope this gets funded and comes to life.

exactly :) And you can keep the backuped seed somewhere else... just in case you loose the two.

I hope this gets funded and comes to life.

This won't get funded by the crowdfunding campaign but whatever... it will come to life, we want it so badly, even for our own needs that we are already funding this project by ourselves ... and we have many other related projects for this platform. Winter is coming.... hmmm... sorry... It will come this winter :)

Looks and sounds very interesting. Looking forward to how this turns out. One question i have is : Will this setup with BlueTooth 4.0 BLE going to be backward compatible or will only be usable to the equipment that has BlueTooth 4.0 BLE?
