I can't seem to find a decent, free podcast player that will easily allow me to listen to LTB on my Android device. Any suggestions?

Why not just download soundcloud?

I simply use the Google music app. It's good because it holds the last place you played a track really well. I can listen to half of a podcast and 3 days later pick up exactly where I left off. With other music apps I've used, when you clear the tasks it loses the track memory.
Just download the podcasts from the soundcloud widget button.

I use BeyondPod and since I track about 20 regular podcasts (of which the LTBn is just 1), I find that having a fairly full featured app is useful for me. I am not saying that this app couldn't be improved as it definitely could be, but I have gotten used to it and it does what I need.

I too am a BeyondPod user and my sentiments echos those in the previous posts. That said, I have tried several other players (can't think of their names) and I always came back to BeyondPod, so that might say something. I'd at least give it a try.

I'll throw my hat at Beyond Pod as well. I tried a few others and I always go back to this app.

Does SoundCloud auto-download podcasts?
Not that I can't afford a couple bucks, but the scheduling of automatic updates is disabled in the free version of BeyondPod, http://www.beyondpod.mobi/android/help/FAQLightProVersions.htm .
Podcast Addict and Podcast Republic appear to be the best free podcast players if you want to set it and forget it regarding auto-downloads.

Beyond Pod is very hard to let go of, believe me no matter how many times you try other apps.
