other forms of proof?

the magic words idea is pretty interesting. it's a completely different way to prove something than to set up a mining rig. LTBcoin is a level 2 currency- it doesn't have to be mined, but it does require "proof" in some way that works in the real world. Something that can't be reproduced, scammed, spammed, 51%'d, etc.

so how else can we "prove" something?

maybe "proof of human" could be done similar to reddit's verification- where you take a picture of yourself holding up a piece of paper with your name & the date.

  Start up a company that acts sorta like a escrow would but only verifies proof of human. Another possibility that might work but may be for only certain sorts of human proof could be some kind of score or rating system similar to credit scores or Amazon/Ebay Buyer/Seller ratings but for human proof. And one last one that sorta is like holding up a pic with name and id would be a voice recognition system. I could see exploit opportunities tho with the last one.

  Proof of human would act as a basis for the amazon-style reputations(among other things). It's best if it's not done by a company, bc you have to trust the company.

  I still don't quite understand how masternodes work.. I read about them for darkcoin, still confused..

  Interesting idea. Could that somehow be tied to exisiting games such as mmo's?

  I like your idea about the proof of "human" thing.

  What I thought about also is, stickers.

  Where to can stick it on your car's body, laptop screen, your bag, ... etc.

  This is one of the highly successful and cost effective advertising campaigns.
