@markxmayer, true. You could, but a large portion of those coins are mine. I could cancel those sell orders, and you would pay significantly more. Therefore 0.6 bitcoin seems a reasonable price.

(The sell order of 199sat. is mine for example, I could move that up to 290 satoshi.)

So you think 286 sat is a reasonable price for here, but you are selling them for 199 sat on the exchange? That would seem to be a contradiction.

No, I am selling some newly bought coins for a lower price since I bought them at a very low price. But I still would like the full price for the older, more expensive coins.

If someone buys, then you have a decent price. If no one buys, then I'd say your price is too high. Can we agree on that?

In my opinion, there are plenty of people with a lot of LTBc, who don't really have any immediate use for it. Just because Melotic isn't doing a lot of LTBc trading doesn't mean there are not plenty of LTB content producers who would give an interested buyer a better deal than you're offering. Note that the amount of LTBc you're offering is just a bit more than a writer can get with one article.

Again, if you sell, then you'll prove me wrong. My bet is you won't find a buyer at this price.

Aight, maybe I'll just buy some stuff with my coins directly. Or bid on the auctions.

@meadefreling Should i offer you at least 0.04 for the 210k LTBc for bitcoin ?

That would be ridiculous, so no.

wait you mean you wont take 94% less than your original offer? :p

wait you mean the ask on Melotc is 130 satoshis so .00000130 * 210 000 = 0.273 and I can get it for .6 here instead!? :)

You don't seem to get the concept of ask price: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bid-and-asked.asp ask price is 198 sat. at the moment, you are talking about bid price. If I wanted to buy 210k right now, I would pay even more than 198 sat. per ltbc since those sell orders are not large enough.

    Lol!

I do get the concept of ask.

Just didn't really give this post the full attention it deserved.

Your initial explanation offers good insight that I'll apply in the future. In theory, given the right conditins, it seems it might work for coins with more liquidity and market cap.

    Good luck!
