Yep. It goes to a counterparty address. Not sure who's though.
Very cool though. I haven't seen QR's like that before.0 likes -

This kind of codes are known as half-tone QR codes. The researchers who created it have made all the info publicly available:
http://vecg.cs.ucl.ac.uk/Projects/SmartGeometry/halftone_QR/halftoneQR_sigga13.html
However, it is a pity the online generator at http://140.114.79.59:99/halftoneQRC.aspx is not working anymore. Maybe some programmer out there can find some time to implement it as an open source project... I currently don't have the time to work on it.
I am sorry, but this all the help I can provide.
Cheers

BTW, @dpc, how do you know the QR code above contains a counterparty address and not a bitcoin address?

I scanned the barcode using google goggles. It translated the barcode into an address. The search results from that address showed counterparty related blockchain explorer results and an LTBcoin result. Google knows everything :) They are my favorite company that scares the .... out of me.
I thought it was kind of crazy that a specific address had links to blockchain explorer sites.

I had no idea there was a counter party block explorer. That's awesome that it shows the underlying assets for each address

Yeah, there are a few block explorers and they're pretty robust. Want to see something even cooler? Click on your username in the top right of your browser. Do you see your LTBcoin balance and every other token you own right there? Thank @cryptonaut.
